what really makes sophia so good was that she really captured the emotions of the song, it's so raw and just so so good, she's not the first lydia that i heard, but she's definitely my favorite 🤔
unbelievably heartbreaking - these lyrics. Between her dismissive father… and her unresolved trauma of it all. I cry just thinking about how much she much she must hurt. All while not crying. It’s so very sad.
@@Jayxize Very cool! This is actually the workshop version so they didn’t have any blocking or choreography yet, just reading the lines and singing at the music stands.
@@broadwaylover3105 Yeah I know, that's just how the first few practices look when practicing a show at my school! I really want to be a professional actor someday
Beetlejuice is my favorite musical I even gotta have my room in North Carolina got everything like it the carpet the walls the Bed the comforter everything's gonna be
My school is doing a beetlejuice musical and I'm in drama so I've been watching these lil clips, this girl is so talented I can't wait to audition for this musical
@@broadwaylover3105 Honestly I'm trying to get a accurate translation of the lines into some non-english language. I was trying to do a check up, with the um, performance with emotions and body gestures. And here we are, joyful, she is as joyful as she is. I know she is just being so excited to perform on the stage as a star. But i am trying to get the most of the information. This is nonsense
@@broadwaylover3105 Looking here, i do double check on over whos dropping the nuclear bomb and why does his father didn't lose a mom. What is this it means, is it means that "is there all there is" "are you done with my trial" "can you finally get my message". Who Ignored for a while. Move along is a phrase to piss people off or moving along on ones life. While she is smiling the whole show....... Um..... I dont like the performer here.
Hey, i was first hearing this music in Vrchat on the Furrys karaoke world. And it shocked me. I really could use some help here for you are a native speaker. Sincr the lady didn't do well in her job.
Dunno, I think the way the overexposure and lighting work in this really emphasize her expression, to the point that it's better than any of the other recordings of her, even the official version of this.
@@needtoknowbasis3499 the only time she lip synced was for the Thanksgiving Day parade performance. I’m pretty sure they pre-record all of the performances for the parade because it’s usually super cold that time of year and not very good for singing voices
You can feel her voice being getting tired with the song with time. But, this is insane how she can keep up with such a difficult role for a year and still be amazing at singing like 5 difficult songs during 2h, especially the Don't rain my parade. I've seen Julie Benko twice, even when she had to perform once a week, i did notice that her voice has lost so much clarity, it became so smooth and less pleasant. So, i put hat to Lea who had to perform 7 times a week, for keeping her voice as much healthy as she can and still be amazing. I mean she still pulled off the note with resonance and power that the song needed. This is pure and powered talent!
@@user-fy4fc5nw5p I know right! It’s incredibly impressive, Fanny is onstage for like 95% of the show so I cannot even imagine doing the show even 5 times a week. I’m still shocked that Beanie was doing 8 shows a week when she had her run, as she didn’t really have the vocal stamina or power to do so effectively 8 times a week. Fanny should always have an alternate, as we learned from this production.
I remember seeing this movie for the first time in 7th grade, I was 13. Fell in love with it immediately Still love it today ❤ And Julia is cute - and looks great in red.
If I remember correctly I’m pretty sure that all of the music was recorded in a studio before they filmed it, so at least she didn’t have to sing it live in a corset. Opera is also incredibly demanding physically and vocally, so having them sing live take after take wouldn’t be a good idea
Sad fact: Before her first show her mother in real life passed away so all of her emotions are real. She is really the strongest person for still doing this❤
Awesome video! They’re all SO talented. I’ve been looking for audios of the two Korean actresses singing home and was wondering where you found these (or if you took them yourself)?
Sophia voice just gives me the biggest chill throughout my body. She definitely gives off something that the others girls don’t, but I still love all of them!
