I agree about simplicity, but here’s a very simple reason. Everyone already knows what fedex or UPS does. They have already spent the time and money to ensure people know what they do. Small businesses don’t have that sort of awareness, so they often benefit from having minor details. Simplicity is not a bad thing, but I don’t think you can just mimic mega brand behavior as a small business and expect it to work. A perfect example is if a small business had an abstract brand name (like Google) and just the logo and a website on the truck, no one would know what they do because it’s not a household brand.
great video. thanks for sharing. very interesting to see that people do read the story behind a certain project. it is similar to case study which some web designers mention on their portfolio website.
Just cause they have money doesn't mean they will pay their bills. In my experience, the more $ they have the tougher it is to get them to pay an invoice. Some celebrities especially think you should do stuff for free cause of who they are. No thanks.
I never bring up money, I never ask personal questions. I present myself the best I can, i give my best price the first time within 24 hours and then I let them decide. Don’t make it so weird Here’s a tip. I always present myself to a new customer as if we’ve known each other but it’s been awhile. I don’t know, it’s always helped my anxiety about meeting new people.
A really powerful interview. Because of this video, I've been able to identify what steps I need to take next to grow my parking lot striping service-based business. Thank you for doing these insightful videos.
We generally like to avoid them on trucks. The goal of the wrap is not to have someone see the wrap and immediately reach out. It's to build familiarity with your brand.

Hi guys absolutely love your channel just subscribed and turned on the notification bell. My name is Abdullah I am 20 years old and I currently live in Toronto Canada. I really love the construction industry and see how much potential there is, my longterm goal is to own my own business that can possibly function with out me. My plan is to first work for a successful home remodeling company to get a good understanding of the different trades, then go for my GC license. My next goal is to work as a project manager and part time in sales to learn as much as I can on the business end. I strongly believe that this will provide with a good understanding and the skills needed to start my own construction business. At the the end of the day I am still a 20 year old and this goal may sound delusional so I hope you may guide me and give me advice on what you think the most ideal and efficient path to take on becoming a construction business owner. I would also like to know if you see value in the formal schooling route (4 year bachelors in construction management) or simply working my way to my goal. I thank you once again for your help and wish your channel the best of success!!!!Hi Keith absolutely love your chanel just subscribed and turned on the notification bell on hope to be apart of your next live. Ok… 2yrs later the info in the video is dated. Even major corporations add their social media info to their advertising. Websites are almost of things of the past, and phone# is way more important for point of contact then websites. The gentlemen making this video, seems very educated. But he’s off base on a lot of key points. Tags lines are nice, but your wrap should have some of the important key facts about what service your company provides. Simple is for sure always better. But KEY information is essential
Man, i had a man and his wife leave reviews on my tire shop and it dropped my rating worst thing is, i gave them solutions which they took. And when they want more. There are truly ppl in this world who want to see others fail
Great presentation, the power of social media is immense. We’ve gather a handful of leads, landed our largest project to date and stay in front of future prospects along with past clients from our social pages
I love idiot companies who wrap their vehicles, putting their name and number on them. Then they drive around like jag offs. I like to confront them with negative google reviews even if they are not a transportation / driving company by trade. 😅😅😅
