Our mission at Custom Fabricating Solutions is always to deliver the lowest possible cost with the highest possible quality. We provide our customers with 35 plus years of fabrication experience plus a wide variety of tools & accessories for professionals to make your job easier and more efficient.
The seeds that gave birth to C.F.S. were sown over 30 years ago, out of an American garage: the creation and personal crusade of a former carpenter/machinist. First as a master fabricator and foreman and then as a small business owner, our founder has spent over 30 years competing against automation and large-scale manufacturing. As other specialists came to call CFS home, they brought their own talents, tricks and ideas to the company.
Reach out to us! We love to hear from our potential customers, in fact that's how a lot of our products have come to be...so don't be shy!
I have to tell you, your video's come off strange because you don't even show the whole set up actually working. It's as if we all have a prior knowledge of what you're trying to sell. Your product would possibly be more popular if you did one video showcasing the whole upgrade in an introductory way..
Makita needs to redesign this awful fence. I just bought one and wish I hadn't. It has many great features, but the fence is a terrible design deal-breaker. It cannot be properly adjusted and doesn't support the workpiece properly behind the blade making the saw very susceptible to violent kickbacks. The rear screws to the throat plate are buried under the fence which must be unbolted and removed in order to change the plate, then the fence must be recalibrated. Try before you buy. Wish I had spent the extra money for the Kapex. Shouldn't have to buy a $150 aftermarket fence just to have a safe clean cutting saw.
Great product i'm gonna buy.Question If you don't install the crossbar will the kickstand fold further back for storage ...i see its used for positioning and alignment.
Hello. The Kickstand needs the crossbar when the miter saw stand is in the vertical position. Can you give us a call if you have any questions? Rob. S. at C.F.S 847-623-7029
This is the first design EZ-Speedy Zero Clearance Fence that we sold. If you like to see what we sale now this is the page to that product.www.customfabricatingsolutions.com/store/p95/Bosch_12%22_GCM12SD_and_12GDCN14_EZ_Speedy_Zero_Clearance_Left_and_Right_Fence.html
How about doing a video on measuring and cutting the wood with a rabbit for the glass? Getting the measurement correct is the hard part for most of us. Thanks for your time.
i picked up your fence for the 20v dewalt miter saw about a year ago, well made and relief cuts where they need to be. but if given the choice id of paid more to get a thicker fence. just barely touched the blade to it after changing setups not realizing i needed to slide the fence out of the way and it cut halfway through it. not a fault of the product it was deff user error, but a thicker fence might have kept the damage to just a knick on the back.
Nice setup. Do you know if the cold cut steel saw DW872 has any mods to the bed and fence. Mine is so inaccurate from years of use I need to do something. I feel the bed metal is too thin. I’m having to add shims and check square on every cut. Even the fence is leaning over when clamping parts. Driving me crazy. Thanks again. Any help is appreciated.
Cool product. Just came across this video and after seeing what you guys are offering I went over to your site and ordered the Notched Fences with the 0 Clearance Insert
I just picked one up... any tips on getting this dialed in? I hear many people bitching and complaining about it .. I have a feeling they never touched it out of the box.
Is there anyway you can do a detailed video on installing and adjusting the couplers on the EZ Speedy Fence? I'm able to set my fence height plumb and square to the miter saw but the coupler assemblies/strut mounts become loose when sliding into the Dewalt stand and end up dangling by the time I'm finally able to remove the fences. Its such a pain, almost rendering them useless. I've tried lubricating the Dewalt stand channels but it's still a challenge to install and remove the fences. Please show what to torque with the two crescent wrenches. I know you have a wonderful product but I just don't have it dialed in.
Hi Victor, I see that you had uploaded the wrong set up owner’s manual after talking with you. We have a new feature on the fence mount that is an upgrade for your fence you have. The name of the product is EZ-SPEEDY CONNCTOR CROSS-BAR. This is the page on our webstore. www.customfabricatingsolutions.com/store/p317/EZ_SPEEDY_CONNETOR_CROSS-BAR.html I know this will help you out. Thank you for your input, Rob at C.F.S
I just ordered your kit for HE74 mounting. The manual talks about removing the rubber feet but you'd need a corkscrew to get those out those rubber feet don't pop out with a screwdriver etc. Rather than destroy them to remove them I ordered your kit which seems like a cool enhancement anyway.
Sorry for slow response. I would need to know more about that model. if you call or email us at 847-623-7029 or customfabricatingsolutions@gmail.com we can answer your question.
We was going to mount that saw in a flat table and they have stickers over the mounting holes that say to remove the rubber feet before mounting and we couldn't for the life of us figure out well why do they need us to take the rubber feet out when it's going to sit on a flat table
Remove the rubber pads ONLY if you are mounting the saw onto a stand like shown in the video. The pads are meant to stay on if simply placing it on a flat surface, like a bench or table.
That looks useful for some people but I am happy with my 6" tall fence I bought from you a while back. It may be my phone, but the audio seems to be very low volume.
Great stuff! Sorry, a bit confusing... but is the "set" left AND right bevel fences together in a set. . . or is the "set" just a right bevel fence "set" or JUST a left bevel fence "set"...?
Recently purchased a DeWALT DWS716XPS miter saw and discovered during calibration efforts that the lower and upper fences, although machined, have some alignment variations that prevent the degree of precision I’m looking for. How these issues escape DeWALT QA is another matter, but I had previously bought some zero clearance inserts for a DW703 10” saw and discovered CFS had a solution to the fence issue in their EZ Speedy Zero Clearance Fence as well. Long story short…after watching multiple videos on the product I still somehow managed to order the wrong one (Duh). I reached out to CFS customer service and spoke directly to Rob who was more than understanding and pointed me to the correct item I needed. (Tip: check the motor housing for the part number) Rob accepted my return, offered me a refund, and had the correct part in stock so I would just need to reorder the correct item. Please keep in mind that it is a lot easier to process a return if the item is not damaged, the protective film is still on the parts and the original packaging is intact so that Rob can restock the part. So, check fitment before doing anything and if it doesn’t look right…you probably ordered the wrong item. Thanks again Rob for taking the time to check in and your excellent customer service and products.
They tell you to remove the rubber feet from the saw before you put it on the stand. So I don't know if it's an oversight. But I think your solution is also good. I'd did something similar with nylon washers sleep
Hi sir this seems a perfct notchng machine.simple and clean.usually how much does this cost sir.?also is this can b used for cutting daily 1000 pieces of alumnium (1.6mm thickness).
Sorry about getting back to you so late, we've been BUSY. This machine is designed for repeatable work, so 1000 pieces of aluminum would be no problem.
Hello David, We are working on that now, hoping to have it available late this year. All new products we will do a RU-vid video. Have you subscribed to our RU-vid channel? Thanks, Rob
