Why not aim at the most efficient, or best built one? Why must the measure of good is how much it costs? That’s not a measure of success, but full blown stupidity
The rest of the world HAS NO CLUE to our advancements in WAREFARE DEVICES! Do you think the Military is going to tell us ALL on what they got going on!? NOPE! The chinese and russians already know their BEAT in a CONVENTIONAL attack.. That's why we need to use LASER Tech to prevent MISSILE interruption from ANY platform they have in OFFENSIVE missile TECH!!
I don't like the fact that the Abrams is that it sounds like an RC car! It doesn't have that tough diesel sound that most tanks have, I guess due to it being gas turbine powered! I would assume that it not sounding like other tanks would increase its ability to be steath on the battlefield, though! I wonder if the sound changes based on what type of fuel its running off at the time? I know it can run on different types of fuel, so, yeah!
That soldier was hauling way too hard on that socket wrench. That's why some equipment ends up failing. Over tightening a bolt. Overstressed bolt eventually fails, taking out the one next to it. Then the track. Just from someone not knowing how to operate a socket wrench.
I would not be tapping on that box with my foot too hard now ! I noticed many of them were not using torque wrenches. That means all of the screws/bolts are at different tensile strengths of tightness and that , over time, leads to wear and tear and maybe failure. Cool vid ! :O) I used to watch tank maneuvers down by Oceanside Ca, at the beach. Awesome stuff. :O)
If the US takes the Abrams into the next conflict against a conventional near peer adversary, you can bet it will be kitted out with armor and weapons packages you haven’t seen used.
Serious sound! So much RESPECT! Happy to hear them practicing when in an air show nearby. Tears flowed when they went low during the Pandemic and my eyes caught 'em above the tree lines a few miles away.
Why not America Abrams tank cover by Stone wall 1,2 feet breadth and length wise to protect from bullet and tank gun fire .is it impossible . It is madness to say .
the RQ-4B Global Hawk UAV can be adopted as an armed UCAV . . . a section of it's enormous fuselage can be turned into a reasonable capacious internal weapons bay . . . one that could easily fit in a couple of AGM-158E JASSM-XR active radar homing inertial guided air-to-surface land attack cruise missile . . . or CBU-56 guided munitions for that matter . . . active countermeasure suite & new state-of-the-art Rolls Royce F138-RR-100B turbofan engines producing no less than 8,200 lbs of thrust . . . for easier ground handling at air bases the RQ-4 could seriously do with some folding wings . . .
