This channel focuses on health optimization. In other words, I help others improve their health and wellbeing by sharing what I've learned over the past decade about diet, nutrition, exercise, sleep, recovery and more.
I was born and raised in Austria. I speak German, English, and Spanish. Since moving to the U.S., I have lived and worked in the Alpharetta/Milton area of Georgia. In my twenties, I was a professional 100m sprinter. These days I do mostly CrossFit and I follow an animal-based diet and intermittently fast several days a week. I'm married and have two trilingual kids.
My goal with this channel is to share what I've learned so you can use that information and be the best version of yourself.
As someone who has gut Issues and has done carnivore, it helped but it didn’t cure the gut issues, however my libido went to shit and I started feeling tired a lot. Reintroduced fruits and felt immensely better - not sure if it was the carbs or something in the fruit but meat only wasn’t good long term. I also can’t et honey, gives me terrible gut issues. I believe there is something here with the carnivore diet for a maximum of 1-3 months, more like a healthy cleanse type of thing, but then reintroduce at least fruits and some veggies. We are omnivores in the end, not carnivores and there is massive evidence that humans can thrive with almost any omnivore diet. The general rules are keep your calories fairly low and avoid processed foods (including processed meats). I doubt that having an orange or a banana per day or some kind of fruit with thick skin that pesticides can’t get into will do anything but good for you. Plants want you to eat the fruits so you can poop the seeds somewhere else and the plant can thus multiply.
dude you literally cant buy sunlight. Maybe the worst web site ever built. No prices and when you click get price nothing happens. They are wasting their time and money sponsoring folks like you with that joke of a web site
Hi Michael, tnx for the great content, I discovered your podcast just this week and I am digging it ! What do you think of a keto "ice cream" just made out of a couple of bananas and few 100% cocoa chips inside ? Can this be a good source of healthy carb for dinner, and fiber replacement too?

We are all going to die. Face it. Just age gracefully and with honor. What will accompany you from birth to grave are pain, death and God. Let these be your teachers. The ultimate goal in our lives is to understand and live in the Divine. Instead of trying to get all those temporary puffy muscles best to meditate and tell God...I am listening Lord.
Other day, I have another sick. And my therapist say that I must eat meat and don't eat gluten and raw vegetable. I don't believe him. And then I have problem with my gut. Short long story, I watch this video and get Aha moment. But i don't have enough wealth to buy meat for daily rutine meal 😢😢😢
Michael I take miracle moo capsules, my dosage is 3 times a day, which is a total of 4500 mcgs! I was told by a doctor this would really help flatten my tummy and lose my love handles? Do you think this will help with that? I’ve only just started about a week now? Thanks so much!!🤗
I am in my 39th year of chiropractic Applied Kinesiology practice in Mass. I have tested multiple muscles in about 175,000 patients. I actually had the 1st gen Q-Link in 1989. It has never failed to amaze me as an inhibitor of EMF / RF radiation. I have yet to see it fail. Cell phone to head, for example, ALWAYS causes weakness to manual muscle test. This is ALWAYS abolished with Q-Link pendant on chest. It neither blocks nor absorbs radiofrequecies. Rather it resonates with the body's natural biofield (yes.. humans vibrate like everything else in the universe). I believe it amplifies the cells' ability to withstand various stresses.. including cell phone RF. I won't be obnoxious and link a vid i did on my other YT channel. My testing with various stickers has not impressed, although I can't comment either way on this fellow's particular recommendations. Nice job. John Manning Jr DC
Could you please be more specific? Are you asking how effective the device is for treating back pain (very effective) or how to position it (using the extender strap).
@@MichaelKummer , I guess both. It is often demonstrated around arm and leg joints. As you know there are a plethora of light therapy devices out there. Just trying to determine which on? Lol
You shouldn't have to worry about intermittent fasting. Just eat when you're hungry and don't when you're not. The only thing you might have to learn is to identify real hunger vs. anxiety and stress eating.
This is total crap. I have ibs and I know everyone is different eating only meat, organs and honey is not a viable option. You will be severely malnourished and malnutritioned. Just because what you say works for you does not mean it will work for everyone. Do not listen to him
TruDignostic. See ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YDaGKto9PIY.html for the full episode. I'm not changing anything since my current rate of aging is 0.8 years every year. In other words, I already slowed down.
@@Retler39 New since when? I certainly have more grey hairs on my head and face now than I did 10 years ago. Haven't noticed any greying anywhere else.

Hi Michael, I tried Animal Based for 2 weeks with fruits. my Stool is just like a big marbles. hard to pass with blood. It's hard on my anus. any recommendation. I tried Carnivore for 1 week but it's still the same. Thank you
It sounds like you might not be hydrating enough. Have you been drinking enough fluids? You can also try adding some magnesium or creatine powder (they cause loose stools if you take too much). If your hydration is good, hard stools might just be a temporary side effect of the dietary change. That's not uncommon.
How tall are you? Have you ever tried just sitting down inside that sauna without the chair and zipping it up so it the heat can cover your head/brain as well?
Hi everyone. This is advice is a total crock of shit. I was diagnosed with IBS in 2017, and weighed in at 69kg at 192cm tall. I was quite underweight. IBS cannot be fixed it can only be managed and quality of life improved. 1) Stop eating foods that cause your IBS to flare up. Do an elimination process to figure out what those foods are and avoid it like the devil, especially excessive alcohol and spicy foods. 2) Eat a balanced diet and avoid junk food and empty carbs. 3) Regular exercise is the best treatment for IBS. It will improve mechanical movement in the gut and aid with stress which can make you prone to IBS flare ups. 4) No ones IBS functions the same way so youll have to keep testing to see what works for you. IBS is still not understood well enough but we can try to improve our quality of life as best we can by listening to what our body tells us. Im now a natural body builder weighing in at 108kg at 192cm tall and happy as ever with minimal problems from my IBS with help from medication like Buscopan and Librax. Stay safe guys, love you❤
Sauerkraut and kefir eminalte all ultra processed foods most ppl don’t realise pretty much all food is processed… unless u kill the animal and eat it instantly your foods been processed… ultra processed tho that’s ur instant noodles ur Doritos all that garbage that has no nutrients
I've been suffering with late stage chronic lyme disease for 7 years now because I was misdiagnosed. I had to get three bone marrow biopsies done by my blood doctor in finding out that I have 20 to 25% of cellular level in my bone marrow and it should be at 70% for my age. I have mild to moderate chronic pancreatitis and I have arthritis in my knees. Everyday I feel fatigued and I suffer with very bad chronic gut issues. I have to get my CBC blood count checked every 3 months because I have a low white blood cells and platelets. I deal with depression and anxiety. I know a lot about the health now and healthy foods. Even though I only can do so much with the income that I have so I can't eat healthy foods all the time meaning to do choosing or anti-inflammatory foods but I do take a good turmeric supplement that has black pepper in it and a third-party tested. I just started taking LD colostrum supplement but I know it's going to take about 3 to 4 months to get a lot better especially like me have a chronic gut issues for so long. Now if I have to be honest I don't eat any processed sugars or anything in that nature. But only sugars that I eat right now is organic jelly on my wafflesbut I've been cheating here and there eating gluten free dark chocolate muffins but I'm going to stay away from now. I know I can't call jerk you right away off of sugar so I'm going to make a plan to slowly taper off of it. I know 70% or 80% of dark chocolate will be okay for Lyme disease patients. Everyday I feel sick is kind to hard to explain your surroundings feel different you don't feel yourself and much more.
Reading all the comments regarding which is better the Move+ or FlexBeam. It’s the same thing with all the other light therapy products out there. I can’t decide what product to buy. Here is one product to check out. Chroma’s IronForge.

I've never had beef in my life.. It's banned in my country 😅 Red meat is a bit expensive here but do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out and has never had red meat in her life before? Its been a year now since I've had IBS.. I just want to get better, understand my health better and not worry so much about travelling and other things that I could do.. I had to leave my job after getting IBS since it was pretty bad but yeah, I just want to feel better without worrying that its one mistake and I wont be able to leave the house or end up in the hospital because even drinking water wouldn't agree with my body when it gets bad
It doesn't have to be beef. Any meat from a ruminant animal (goat, sheep, camel, mutton...) is fine. If that's not available, seafood or meat from monogastric animals works too.
We had to stop shipping to Canada because the Canadian food police declared our supplements too dangerous :) We're currently working of filing the required paperwork to get an import license.
@@MichaelKummer asked this question before I got to the part where you said it has stevia anyway. So it won't work for me on either of those fronts but it sounds like a good product. Wish more companies would refrain from using artificial ingredients
