Seems like he's really emoting but it doesn't actually translate into anything, he also has a small tinny sound. Not a fan at all. The tempo is too slow also! This is not some thunderous Bach organ passacalliga, it's a silly little piece by a second rate composer!
Really an amazing performance of an amazing piece: it practically takes a miracle to make this piece happen but Mr. Redzic pulls it off with flying colors and demonstrates an unbelievable range of sounds. How he even memorized this is beyond me. How he makes such musical sense and spins it into a narrative, likewise. This is a piece whose musical and technical complexity, I would venture to say, exceed just about anything in the repertoire. I hope is that he will someday record a performance in the high-quality vusual and audio format of his newer videos where he has been recording some of the best Bach, Walton, Villa-Lobos, Castelnuovo Tedesco et. al. I have ever seen or heard.
I always keep coming back to this performance. I have never seen a musician evoke so much emotion like here. This is beyond our world of comprehension!
Dear thomas, i can only repeat what i wrote in the comment to your other Telemann-video: wonderful played, and of course, thanks again for trusting my transcription for playing these beautiful works! :-)
dear Thomas, wonderful played! Thank you so much for using my transcription, it is true pleasure to listen to it performed so greatly! best wishes, Carlo
Dear Carlo, thank you so much for your kind words and for this unexpected surprise! A true honour that you took the time to listen and to write so kindly. Your transcriptions are indeed magical, I loved working on them. All the best!
While listening I thought I could feel and hear him breathe, but then I figured out it's the sound of the guitar. They are indeed one and the same in this video.
