Welcome. Here you will see a collection clips from my previous streams and other game related content. I like to do unique, sometimes modded, Skyrim builds, reviews, reaction videos and guide videos. I stream on twitch at Queen Reaper Gaming. Feel free to follow!
I never stick to the vanilla followers. I only mod and the three best by far are Kaidan, Inigo, and Lucien. But I do like J'Zargo, Marcurio and the Companions.
This video really gives me the image of these followers submitting their applications for the Dragonborn, and you're currently listing them all off after they gave their auditions lol. Love the video!
Nice list. Personally i disagree (or at least i have some doubts) for some picks, but is my personal experience adn opinion, it's hard to rank those followers in a 100% perfect way. - As a caster, i like Illia for his massive use of frost spells (is a great tactic tool vs warriors, and ice storm is great vs groups of foes), but frost is also the most resisted elemental type in Skyrim, plus for the overall stats and spells i think ERANDUR is better: larger mana and HP pool (the HP is even higher than Lydia), fire spells have a better damage output, he is quite strong even with the mace if he eventually runs out of magika, and he uses staves (if given) more often than many other followers (often than Illia too). If i have to choose knowing i will face hordes of warrior bandits/undeads, and if i'm quite sure i can tank and defend her, i will go, with Illia, in any other case i probably go for Erandur. - As a tank, over Mjioll and Stenvar (and maybe even over Farkas) i prefer by a lot IONA (Rift housecarl) and CELANN (Dawnguard warrior): the stat distributions are perfect (100 in Heavy armor, OneHanded, Block, plus over 90 Archery for both), great HP pool for both, 50 lv cap for Iona, no level cap for Celann. -Another observation: in the video you say about Cicero "if you can tolerate his random jigs...". Why tolerate? Those jygs are a plus! he is one of the funnies (non mod) followers BECAUSE of those jigs and dances! PS: while choosing the strongest is always matters of debate, choosing the weakest is far easier. Tie between Sven and Roggi
Honestly, I can't stand using Serana. If I had a Septim for every time I start forging armor/weapons and turned around to find her 'using' the grindstone/armor bench/enchanting table that I was about to use, I would be able to buy all of Skyrim, and have enough left over to hire the Brotherhood to deal with Nazeem.
Eola has a very under rated stat. she is a breton + resistance perk at rank 1. this means she has a standard magic resistance of 35%. you can easily get her to 100% magic resistance, there is no resistance cap for followers btw.
when thinking about followers i usually catigorise them into categories of equipment,1 handers (+shield or duel furry), 2 handers, archers and mages (mainly looking for destruction anyway since you can give them a summoning staff to any follower). also some tips, look at your followers perks on the wiki so see what weapons and armors would be best to give them. archery is fairly important no matter what type your follower is, this is because all followers get a bow that you cant remove so they will all use it very often
Unfortunately there’s a glitch where once you part ways with her, she can no longer be your follower, as you’ll be unable to enter dialogue with her. Shame, because she’s quite an impressive follower.
@@edwin.dugan7 No, you can leave him alive. Astrid does her best at convincing you to kill him but you can leave him alive and will actually help rebuild the Dawnguard Santuray. He becomes a follower if you leave him alive
Favorite Vanilla follower would have to be Lydia or Serana- but I use a lot of modded add-ons cause they're kina dull otherwise. My favorite Modded followers are Vilja and Inigo!
Ralis Sedarys is an amazing follower who becomes available after completing the Unearthed questline and sparing his life. He is a dual-wielder with dual wielding perks, a fantastic archer, and has a great personality. Skyrim veterans know him as arguably the deadliest follower in the game.
Lol in order for the ebony blade to work the npc must die. Cicero is only able to be killed in the questline only if you activate the mission allowing it. Even if you did the mission before and ported a new version in the game will recognize his invulnerable state just like he was the original one. This is something they did because of Morrowind. In morrowind no npc's are invincible. This caused a lot of people issues so in Oblivion they decided to make important npc's invincible until the point their quest lines are finished. These npc's are very useful for cheesing the game if you want to go a pacifist playthrough. Cicero is what is called a special case he is rather unique there is no telling what kind of crazy things special coded npc's will bring about.
You're on PC and used the console commands to resurrect Cicero. You could have used a few more commands on unused NPC's that aren't aligned with the Brotherhood and made them friendly (level 3 friendly) and used the blade on them instead (which I do use to sacrifice them to Boethia). I can step you through it if need be mate.
@@mcolman303 I actually tried all that off stream including commands to try and reset or fully charge the Blade and neither of them worked. I also used the code for unnamed NPCs and didn't work.
@@QueenReaperGaming I spawn in Hunters, make them followers (rank 3), set my relationship to the same rank & drag them around with me. Up side = every time 1 of them dies, I get $300 gold + can also marry them if I choose to. Usually I sacrifice 1 of them to Boethia which saves the use of any named NPC's. Maybe the Fandom Wiki or UESP pages have solutions to fix it other than what I suggested earlier. However there's 1 other way to fully charge the blade in Vanilla that doesn't use console commands. The Aetherial Crown + Ritual Stone combo can be used on 1 Named NPC follower as many times as needed to fully charge the blade (which as I said negates the need and usage of console commands). But yeah, definitely sounds like a bugged/glitched blade to me mate.
@@QueenReaperGaming if you're running mods , that could also be your problem as I've never had any running in Oblivion & Skyrim as I prefer playing them in Vanilla as it's already buggy enough without adding more headaches to the mix.
I downloaded a mod called “Dark Trading” which allows me to essentially delete important NPCs from existence. Did it to Nazir and then used another mod to make Babette a companion cause she’s very fun.
@@mcolman303 You’re doing it directly through your teeth. Skyrim has been out for too long bro. You might’ve been able to pull off a lie like that in 2012 😂 but these days the game has been played to death by so many people. If it was possible to make Babette a follower in the vanilla game, it would have been done, and a mod to do it would be unnecessary.
From what I saw, the Ebony Blade requires you to kill your close friends, so trying to kill an allied Cicero (while being in the Dark Brotherhood) cause you to instead trigger a quest for betraying your friends. Maybe Ebony Blade specifically is triggering it. I haven’t researched it yet.
@@charlesreaper so, the Ebony Blade will sometimes bug and not fully charge. I experienced this bug myself and since I killed Cicero at the end of the DB questline, I used console commands to bring him back since he was "friendly" to see if it would power up when I offed him. Unfortunately, he did not die but and it registered as me attacking a fellow DB member and told me I had to pay a fine to fix the issue. Much like it does if you attack someone in the College once becoming a member
I love let’s plays like this. Pretty chill, and showcasing some good games. Watching this makes me wanna boot up oblivion again. My very first RPG. Subbing 🙂
could you tell me how u did it and the reason u cant feed is becase your now glitched and dont have to thats why the npcs wont see u as a vampire/ act shady around u
@@Tobykanobi1 I mention alternatives you can use that are either vanilla or very similar to what I used in the video. Since the spells themselves are mods, there isn't anything close to them in the vanilla version you can use.
Imaging you are at the beginng of the game, your char is weak as hell and you want, bloody hell, a REAL WEAPON! - what do you do? Where to get such an item from early in the game? These would be worthy informations! Powerful at Level ONE, not at Level 70! Of course you could always use the console to get yourself always the best stuff ; but that is not fullfilling, at all!
What i never liked about this weapon: It is in Solstheim! Spupid Solstheim ; ... as a player you normaly land here quite late ; at a point in the game, where you wield an already a much more powerful weapon! The Black Bow of Fate would be a great help at the beginning of the game, when your char still is very weak. But to obtain the BBoF is a super long on-going process! In the end it is only a bloody "collectable Item" for your private gallerie. It would be even more genious when you had the chance to obtain a super powerful weapon at the beginng of the game, already! *On your own risk, of course! A dumb Hunting Bow can be upgraded and enchanted so much, that the Black Bow of Fate looks like a childs-toy, compered!
