Thank you, Darren, for coming over to check out the Aircooled Assassins Cal Look display. It was a pleasure chatting with you, and you did a fantastic job covering the cars. We're incredibly proud of the turnout and all the guys who raced!
The first VW i drove was a 1200 65 VW. In fact i learned how to drive a stick in one. Interesting thr evening i learned to drive i backed out a dark driveway. The next morning a classmate asked if we saw anyone leaving that evening. We had no idea until we away and realized i wiped out an entire to row of his mother's prized roses. We drove that car everywhere. I did realize the back seat was not the place to enjoy a bit of privacy with my girlfriend.
With the GT wheels it once had and one under the bonnet and the blue door cards and that deeper orange …. It looks like it might’ve been a later model Jeans Beetle?
Good to see a young lad getting stuck in. If the carpet cleans up, keep them, only original once, and that liner behind the back seat, is rare and looks in great condition 👍🏼
@@VWFarmhaha it was blue patina one with yellow headlights, you still got chance of a sub as I’m going to scan through your other videos as I’ve just seen the bugjam one you done 🎉😂
What a tremendous show and a fantastic turnout of people and vehicles. I personally love the Snowtrack as it takes me back to my childhood days living in Gordonbush estate in northern Scotland 🏴👍🏻
Brilliant you make it look easy, I would have to take a week off work to achieve that. I also love that its a 65, white beetle. Do you have any footage of how you got it to this point?
I've done glass on my own, easier if you have an assistant - as you demonstrate. If you had done the rear window first, I think you could have done that on your own too! Thanks for sharing!
Some beautys makes me want another Golf , said I'd never buy another Seat Leon Cupra man now, any South African Mk1s as they made them until 09 which I'm sure you know been a VW but ,
Hey VW Farm. I just saw another video on "Northern Decays" RU-vid channel. At 04:11 there´s an abandoned VW 1300. Maybe that one could have your interest. The video is called EXPLORING AN ABANDONED FARM WITH HELICOPTER AND CLASSIC VEHICLES... Maybe you could write to him regarding where it is located....
