direct highway around, since putting through traffic into the city is too much. highways are not supposed to have any intersections, and preferably be straight at the start and end.
Lowered the basin to just above sea level as you suggested, and boom, suddenly I'm getting 107% efficiency instead of a puny 3%. Thanks man, I always just thought Dams were bugged.
Almost never do tip 4. Traffic doesn't just want to get through your junction it wants to get start to end. If you prevent it's turn maybe it has to go though 4 other junctions
Exactly, the shape of the dam body is important and must be curved towards the reservoir otherwise over time cracks will begin to form in the structure and eventually it will collapse.
Sweet, love the lighting. Clever use of the patio too... going to _knick_ that idea! I saw Sully had managed to get an all concrete looking court in something he dropped as a teaser... I wonder if he's got a custom decal made for that or if it's findable in-game already. Keep 'em coming Olly! Great work.
That's a pretty immense building project Olly! Your scissors at the ends of the platforms you can really smooth out using the _Manipulation_ _Mode_ of MoveIt (looks so much better and the trains move more freely). Now that Extra Detailing Tools has had an update all that moving stuff around is a lot easier with the _Transform_ tool too: move object where you want it; copy the coords; pick next object and place it anywhere; paste coords; transform relative to current location (slide left or right in other words, or up/down). Are you on the Modding Discord? If so, maybe there's something to look into regarding those tunnels...
Thank you. On the PlayStation it always seems to act buggy around the area once I remove the water. Like there is still water there. For some reason I never put the roads down first before flooding the area I will have to try that.
I really hope there comes a mod that auto places stops when placing the line itself, I find it really annoying to place the stops first and then create the line. Just auto place stops when creating lines, or atleast give an options to, options are never bad
no, don't do it like that, first upgrade the road with +1 lane where you want to add a ramp, than add the ramp snapping to that lane with the proper angle, and then replace everything that is not supposed to be +1 with the original number of lanes. If you do the +1lane upgrade afterwards the angles do not fit and the line markings overlap weiredly
