I just watched another dealers RU-vid video stating not to reuse the filters, that they are disposable,, you throw them in the trash after 6-8 weeks & replace them with new ones= this is how a Bullfrog spa operates but here in this video you're showing the opposite?!?
Hi friends. Question please? My 23 A7 shows "cooling" when I turn the temperature down. Is the spa really capable of cooling as well, or does that simply mean "no heat"? Thanks for your time and help, in advance.
Not a bad video - but apparently the new Cloudcontrol2 App will not work with the WiFi module on my Bullfrog spa that's only 6 years old! So I can't control my hot tub with my new Android phone that is not compatible with the old original Cloudcontrol App (which does still work on my old Android tablet). 🤔
sadly my new 2023 bullfrog spa has been a love hate experience. My new spa is air locking every day. I clear the airlock (with much effort), and using the tub, then overnight it will airlock again. I am still waiting for dealer to help diagnose and fix. Meanwhile I've grown very tired of the headache to remedy just to use the jets. Bullfrog needs to make something that works out of the box. This is awful - I cannot recommend bullfrog at this time.
Can you tell me what "Night Mode" is and what it does and how to change it because when I try that icon in either screen it just turns off my display panel.
This helped for sure, and I wanted to comment on what's helped me every fill except for the last one because of wind (that made me try to keep the cover down for leaves). If you fill through the filter tubes, it seems to help airlock issues. I had the airlock issue on the first fill (not filling water through the filter pipes), then never had the issue for many fills by filling through the filter pipes. This time, I didn't do that, so now I have to use this method. I'm not saying that his is a 100% for sure prevention, but it sure seems like it. I got that tip from another video when I had the issue the first time.
Hello, yes the new redesigned simplicity filters are designed to last 90 days and cleaned every 30. They improved the filters by strengthing the glue holding the pleats together. To know if you are buying the new filters vs the old is all simplicity filters are now prewrapped inside the box of 4 sold at Bullfrog retailers. Hope this helps!
You may wanna promise that with "perceived" reliability. Here is my story Hate to be a downer but......first tub A7D (ordered May 2023) had an air-lock that both the dealer nor I could fix. Bullfrog did step up and a second arrived last weekend 🎉(after 3 weeks). We fired it up Monday evening and it was shooting shredded black rubber through all of the jet-packs and the #1 pump / filter has very little water pressure. The dealer this time stepped up and sent a technician out to troubleshoot and repair, however, two new pump replaces later, nada. I have asked the dealer for a full-refund prior to taking any legal action. Let's see how Bullfrog steps-up and refunds the dealer. All in all, these are the deal breakers meaning pumps that do not work along with plugged up plumbing in two models but there is 5 other problems including lighting, jets, switches. for a $15,750 spa, come on. Quality control is sorely lacking at Bullfrog in the summer of 2023. Let's see if their customer service is better. Believe me I love the engineering but the execution in manufacturing and QC is lacking.
Hello! They are referring to the therapy dials at the bottom middle of the Jetpak. These valves will turn up and down the water flow while soaking, having the Jetpaks open will allow better water flow. Hope this helps!
Just refilled my R7 last night, here in the desert. It was 110F yesterday. It took 23 minutes to reach 90F!! Love my Bullfrog Spa, it has changed my life for the better!
Put your SPA on Hold by using the controller menu. Remove your filters. Use a toilet pump and pump each of the 2 filters openings. You should see air bubbles coming out from the lower end jets. No need to open the front panel etc. Resume the SPA from Hold using the controller menu. Should work 🙂
How far does the cover hang down behind the spa in the open position on a Bullfrog R6L if the bracket is placed in the highest possible position under the white lip of the spa?
Thanks, so got my spa today but my waterfall is pointing out of the tub. Is there a trick I'm missing, seems like the the whole assembly needs to be rotated 180
We love our Bullfrog Spa !!! The JetPak systems are very unique. We opted to add the sound system with subwoofer. You can literally have the music emanate from the water !! -It's a truly different experience.
I would disconnect the spa and forget it in the settings then reconnect and put in the password. If it is an apple make sure the speaker output is set to bluetooth, android should auto connect. If you turn up and down the volume on the phone it should show the bluetooth symbol showing it is connected.
The second pump will come on the 7s or larger but on the 6's it is considered to be an upgrade. The 5's will only have 1 pump. The Wellspring Filtration pump is considered to be an upgrade. Hope this helps! :)
@BullfrogSpasofTriCities ok great thanks, I just bought the r5, has a filter pump that's why I was confused but now it makes sense. Do you know where I can buy extra jet packs or is there a trade in program?.
Putting aside any humor, this product performed exceptionally well. I was initially apprehensive about inspecting my neglected spa's inner workings after an entire year. However, I removed the small amount of grime and ran the product through the system. It truly exceeded my expectations and worked wonderfully.
Our spa configuration was set to 3 and when I moved it to a 2. The system had a overlapping display and went haywire. If I return to the a 3 and let it initialize, it returns to normal. Not sure why it's staying at 2, we really would love to set the temp to 100. We will call our dealer but thought to share my issue here as well. THANKS.
