you need to have a completed savefile on Hard mode, after that you can press LRLRA during the intro of the game, it also gives an alternative outfit for Diaz if you're on Area 1 or 2
This game was one of 3 games I'd play when I was 5. I always wondered how/where the items for the empty slots were. Today I find out there are unfilled slots. Currently in shambles right now.
So I've started playing hybrid heaven and it's my first playthrough ever. I'm still a little confused on the combat stat rating. From what I understand is the sum of all of your attack skill levels make your accumulative offense stat. Is that correct or no? i'm just having a hard time figuring out how to increase my combat stat. Anyways this is an awesome video and I'm extremely appreciative for you sharing that spreadsheet with all that data. It's like a full dissection of the game mechanics.
Not sure what you mean by combat stat. If you're refering to how much damage you do, that is a function of your Offense stat, your body parts offense (depending of the attack different parts can add up), your skill level with the tech you're using, and then the enemy defense stat and its body part defense of where the move landed.
@@PandoraJane37 so from how I understood the sum of your attacks in a certain combat style all equal the sum of your attack. So like all variants of kicks (high mid low and all their variants add up to the sum of your damage output) so you should try to level up every single attack in what ever style you choose to use. rather then focusing on just doing high kicks or something like. or is it more like your output is the sum of one variety of attack style like say high or low in whatever fighting style you use? @@readifer when it comes to skill level of moves, only the skill level of the move you're doing affects the amount of damage, the skill level of all other techs have no effect. That said, if you want to keep increasing your skill level, you have to eventually level up all moves because the game has a skill level cap that depends on the sum of skill levels of different moves. is VERY different from the other versions. While the map design is the same, the whole engine, game feel, sprites, music and sound effects are completely superior on SNES
Super agree with this. I started running offline in the beginning bc I was too shy to stream. It's okay, but definitely can be boring to grind offline sometimes. Since I started streaming, having people come in and say hi and chat has helped make my attempts feel less tedious. Sometimes I get distracted, but that's on me to learn when is a better time to read.
