this thing is complete garbage. it works UNTIL we have to do a new firmware upgrade and then IT FAILS EVERYTIME. but of course we can't do anything without your policy of mandated fw upgrades. so EVERY TIME i need change anything then i'm screwed. buying ezcan easily worst decision ever made.
What a great product. I have two and have introduced them to my BMW club of which now a dozen people are putting it on. This product will be EPIC when there is a phone app for iphone……right now breaking out my laptop is a huge inconvenience as I don’t carry it on the road or on a trip coming up to Africa. PLEASE PLEASE develop an app and then this product goes to next level!!!
Update to this video.. EZCAN and CANsmart software has since been updated so that there is no more slow blinking GREEN light while the bike is off. This was done to remove the almost negligible parasitic draw. It would take months of the bike sitting to actually kill the battery, but it was a parasitic draw nonetheless so Hex did away with it.
Utterly USELESS video. When I plan on buying a product, if the manufacturer makes a video, include RELEVANT information instead of a promotional "riding" video. Everybody should down vote this stupid video if you agree. I came here looking for how it WORKED, not to watch some clown ride around.
Hello, Am building an accident damaged 2010 BMW S1000rr, i seem to be stuck, just cranks have tried replacing a couple things including harness, which i discovered cut tps sensor wires, which i soldered back, but still same, From forums been guided since its 2010 model, i can get the yellow gs911, will that able reset adaptations and TPS, and maybe of in limp mode activate the bike? ecu BMSKP, 2010 BMW 1000rr Regards Jackson

Would be nice to see you fit to a R1200R 2015 onwards machine. I have TPMS but they refer to is as "Tire Pressure Control". I do have a plug that is not connected to anything under the seat but not sure where to plug in your unit.
I've just fitted mine and it's easy to fit, however you will need to register your unit before you fit it to your bike if you don't have an internet connection in your garage etc where you're fitting it after installing the software to your lap top etc. I installed mine, then connected my laptop up as directed only to find it needed a software update and I couldn't configure it until I'd uploaded the latest software so had to take it off again! Also to help route the battery cables I used 2 cable ties, one looped through the 2 battery terminals and then connected to the other by threading it through the hole in the blunt end of the 2nd cable tie. it also helps to remove the fuse cap and fuse from the fuse holder if space is tight.
how does it know what light is left and right, I have 2 sets of aux lights to fit and I want the sides to go off when indicator is on and all other functions ?
This is really stupid. Do I need to be told to click the Windows PC file if I have a Windows PC? Etc. Etc. Etc. Hex ezCAN seems like a great product, I've heard nothing but good and am about to order one. But sheesh. What kind of idiot are you making these videos for?
Just fitted one of these to my 1250gs. Pretty straight forward even for someone as mechanically impaired as me! Great set-up, I only have aux lights plugged in at present but everything works as stated. Very clever little device.
Is this "harness plug" the same as the "on board battery charger plug" for the 2013 F800R? If not, Where is that plug? I have a service manual and the owners manual for this bike and they make reference to the on board plug but do not illustrate it. Also, if you know of a good applicable charger for this model, please refer me to it. Thanks for your response.
