Yes, it does, and it should work fine on Canon cameras. However, I use it on a Sony a7iv via adapter, and the adapter only supports autofocus for stills but not for video.
I found that duracell do batteries for cameras, and there's one for the fujifilm xt20. That might be worth trying, since its a well known brand. Its also worth buying an Anker portable power bank, which can charge both your phone & camera (even both at the same time) depending on which version you buy.
both sound infinitely better than your handheld mic, hahaha.... you should take that thing outside right now, burn it and then bury the remains... hahahahahaha Shure wounds way better than the Boya, especially with decent speakers. boya has a boosted bass profile that clips badly... but probably isnt very noticeable to untrained ears on smartphone or laptop speakers.
As soon as I heard your voice, I was like hey... I have heard this guy somewhere else. Yep, Shiny Things watch reviews. I bought my Pagani Daytona in part based on your 6 month update review. This was helpful. Definitely going with the Shure MVL.
did you not hear Boya clipping the whole time?... Shure is a LOT quieter and has infinitely better sound.... especially on decent speakers or headphones... the gain is set too high on all thee mics...i have to turn my volume down to 25-30% to have it be listenable, any higher and its shredding my speakers... i usually listen at 50-75% on good/balanced audio...
