I graduated a few months ago!! I 100% think you could manage working part time! Just make sure school comes before work for you and you will be great 🫶🏼
I got accepted into two programs, and I can't decide to go to a better school and a better location but dont have a place to live since im out of state and need to move soon, or go to school with my best friend and have an apartment approved but the location isnt the best. I know people say to not follow your friend, but it does seem more fun and easier, but the location and school isnt as good.
I got accepted to both schools, but I dont know if I should go to the school that is closer to home possibly better school, and safer location. Or go to school thats further away but with my best friend. We always have fun together and feel like it'd be very fun to do it together and know someone from the start or be closer to home
My school is close to home, about 5 minutes by car or 15 walking, and it makes a huge difference. You've to consider that when you have days at clinic or you have patient you've to arrive at least 40 min before to review patient's history, desifenct and cleaning your bay, sometimes sharpening instruments etc. I would choose to stay close and not have to wake up early and rush to school.
I dunno I think there will always be a shortage for DH because schooling is more difficult than it needs to be, and if one fails they often cannot try again to enter most programs, it’s competitive, and expensive. DH is much like nursing in the sense that shortages continue because of the multiple roadblocks that have to be faced to become one
Hi! Which package did you get from AndyRDH? I’m currently using that and just watching the seminar videos, reading the book and using the app. Is this sufficient enough to pass?
Is there a way for you to link your Etsy so I can see your wishlist and stuff?? I struggle to find cute things on there sometimes but you seem to find a lot!
I just finished my prerequisites for dental hygiene, and I’m wondering if you actually like your job? I’ve started seeing so many hygienists say they regret becoming hygienists and wish they would have pursued nursing instead. Do you regret becoming an RDH?
@@Inrussian it’s definitely the most painful!!!! For me it took like 4 months to heal, couldn’t sleep on that side or touch that ear for 4 months! It was very rough. But worth it because i think its the cutest!
I thought it takes about a year or even more to fully heal. First time I saw it I thought it was too extreme, but now I think it’s one of the cutest piercings to get too. Do you recommend it for guys too or you think it’s more for girls because I mostly see it on girls?
How much do u think I should have save up in order to apply for dental hygiene school ? I already took a dental assistant class but I feel I like doing the same thing everyday ! Dental assistant allot of things changes everyday
I know this question was for her 😂 but my program was about 18 or 19 Months. I saved all my bills up for 24 months because I knew I wouldn't be able to work in Hygiene School however some of my classmates did. Good luck to you. You can definitely do it.
So exciting! My bf is currently looking at houses and boy in WI is it competitive and expensive… I’m a nurse and he’s a tradesman. Congratulations on the house!
you def look wayyy better under the white/blue light on camera vs the yellow. but idk, i think i might want to change it too if it looked blue irl!!! what did you end up deciding?
It’s totally up to the patient but 99% pf the time they would like some form of numbing so they are comfortable! There are different intensity numbing options
@@jordynwillenbring I went for a root canal last year actually in the spring of this year instead of the dentist numbing me up he had the hygienist do it I didn't even feel the needle go in
Thanks for uploading your journey in the dental hygiene career. It makes me sooo excited that one day I’ll be able to help so many people like you do. I am 22, I live with my boyfriend 10 hours away from my family, and I’m in my pre reqs currently!! Sometimes I have doubts but when I do I look towards you for inspiration. 🩷❤️
I’ve been temping too! I love the temp app OnDeim you can ask all your questions before you come to your shift 😊 made me feel comfortable! Loved this vlog
