Amazing gameplay. For Mortal Kombat 1, which emulator did you use to play it? Did you use perhaps some custom/hacked ROMs? How did you learn all these great moves/tricks/combos?
I used Mame 0.220. You can download a cheat file that enables you to select the arena (including bottom of the pit). I don't play any hacked roms besides UMK3 Juggernaut's Edition, but that's just the normal UMK3 with Noob Saibot playable and Human Smoke unlocked.
Amazing marathon video! You noticed her otg knee launcher doesn't work in the PS1 version? I'm surprised you didn't test it back in days. Also, Sindel and Mileena knee launchers don't work against Shao Kahn.
Yeah, I tried everything I could to motivate the developers and even reached Marc Loffredo, but I think they are just not interested into finishing the emulation...at least Phil Bennet is not lol
@@dedplays3662 yeah i know, i guess its a basket case. Unless Warner Bros rerelease a collection of all their mk arcade era once more, and this includes this game, which I don't know is if it's unrealistic too
we use to just turn off the sound or turn it low on this one and listen to music when when we were kids that way our friends would not know so much sound was missing from this one there were like is that the arcade game
When you see the word “TAS” that means it’s computer assisted. People run these games through algorithms and stuff for the computer to learn the most frame by frame efficient way to win. The computer ends up figuring out these little tricks humans can’t do live dropping through the floor. But this is also why the combos are literally perfect. They use TAS a lot for super Mario brothers also and I’m sure many others
Mortal Kombat got of a little better on the Amiga systems than Street Fighter, but this version seems like the worst port of MK2, thanks to its choppy graphics making it feel rather clunky. It looks like it plays... fine, but those missing animations, yikes.
