@@GotMountains Did he actually say that? I mean Foresty climbed most every peak in Death Valley while carrying all his gear, water and food. Not sure Rocko is much of a load in comparison.
@@sailingaeolus yeah, he talks all about it in his videos leading up to buying it. He just wanted to do bigger distances in less time so he could get to climbing faster
I wished he would make more RU-vid videos. I am too poor to visit the patreon much. i subscribed for the free but it just makes me feel left out. i watch his channel faithful because it brings me a peaceful norm that I don't get much of anymore. i hope He will still keep his chanel up for folks like me.
I’ve been watching Foresty for years and he never disappoints. Even tho we have never met I consider him a good friend and let’s not forget Rocko. 👍😎✌️
@@valeriepeltola lol, agreed, only we had already been discussing meeting up. Honestly though, he'd pretty much be impossible to find. Needle in a haystack that guy.
He's here in Alaska right now, wish i could meet him. No way i could ever keep up with this guy tho 😂 you can definitely see his dedication in his videos. Love this guy
I believe you are in a cold van via the click click clicking noise 😢of a cheap diesel heater. Am I correct?😮 That ticking noise would drive me freaking batty😮
@@GotMountains I just bought one for my RV. Do you have any pointers things I might need to know? Can I have my gas tank lower than my diesel heater?🤔🤔🤷♂️
@@RVingwithG yes, having it lower is better than having it above. Above can create an auto siphon that will continue to leak fuel through your heater. The documentation should specify the range, but I'm pretty sure a meter below the heater is normal. Beyond 2m is not recommended for these pumps.
He is the best off grid person on RU-vid- I started watching him when he was just starting out and everything about his videos has improved dramatically from locations, presentation and video quality.
@jneal6349 Simon aka "Foresty Forest", is not only my favorite RU-vidr, his videos are where I go to when the hopelessness of day to day life creeps in and I'm able to "cleanse myself in the mystical waters of lake Minnetonka!"
i have a 94 awd previa w 351k miles and ive never got around to it cuz i thought itd hit the door but seeing this gave me confidence to install it since it shouldnt. Thanks for this vid
@@JaceD4V1S88 a wrecker or from a Japanese parts site. I just moved mine so I didn't need an extra one. You'll also want to get a JDM passenger side interior trip panel as the NA version doesn't have room for the clip. I cut mine and it's a bit messy.
Wow. Northern Canada. Can relate as I was born and raised in Maine. I live now in SW Utah in the middle of several converging deserts, and we have sunlight up the yingyang. Good review! I have a Jackery 1000 but am considering something smaller for just sticking in my home office in case of a power outage.
He was the reason I started watching RU-vid due to his bikepacking trips… I also now have a van and so the love continues…. He keeps it simple and tells the truth…. I wish more RU-vidrs wouldn’t get sucked into the ‘Jackery, Betterhelp, AG1’ nonsense and just live their lives… that’s what we want to see…
