this was taken before he started experimenting with drugs. his brain isn't hesitant or have a slight struggle to construct a joke before his delivery. the voice is more well defined. before and after clips from his young adult through middle age should be shown to teenagers in high school about the negative effects drugs can have on the body.
As a kid back in the 70's, I used to sit in my dad's white chevy van ( with the engine between the driver and passenger) on his 8 track tape. I laughed so hard every time. Thst was a good memory. 😂
Carlin I don’t think was funny back then. Then he never really became that hilarious when he did improve. He became a preachy comedian who valued applause for his messages. I agreed with him most of the time but not actually that funny.
