A joy to paint really sums Newline Designs miniatures I've been collecting them since 2008 and I've never been disappointed. The Facebook group is brilliant I need to make an effort to get back to it more often a really great bunch of people!
Nailed it mate! I get a bottle of Nuln Oil, remove half, add half a bottle of the medium to create a full bottle. Then add the other half of the nuln oil into the other half of the medium and I end up with two washes 😁 ... if that makes sense? Thanks buddy!
Will give a try can you still use 2 and 1 method or 1 and 1 method nulin oil and medium painted a figure with your method looks great perry miniatures Sudan warriors
Amazing, thank you so much buddy 😎 my recipe for Chindits has changed slightly since this tutorial so I'll have to put out a new one soon ... in 1/72 😉 have you checked out my other 1/72 guides?

Hey man! Im curious which pack you got the Panzer IV/70 from? It would be awesome if you can send a link from the pack you bought to get them! And how did you make the net on the barrel on one of the Panzers IV/70?
Thanks a lot buddy. I see you had a few comments deleted which is weird, I don't know why! The Panzers are actually from an older resin boxset GBX36 which included the net on the barrel, etc 😉 you might be able to snag a set on ebay or a Facebook seller? 😊
Great result. 👍 If you are lazy and don't wanna do the tidy up you can always choose colours which are a bit too bright and the wash will darken it down. What can I say? I am lazy! 😉
Top quality video man. What you say about the highlighting taking time to "get it" is spot on. I have been a stop start hobbiest and when I look at models I painted a few years ago, the highlighting looks really nice. Today I am finding it tricky to get back to that standard and find myself thinking, what am I doing wrong. I think key is to not jump to fast
I couldnt agree more mate 💪 welcome back buddy, I was much of the same. You're naturally going to improve over time.... a lot of the time we won't do something out of fear so I'm hoping with this video people will see how easy it could potentially be 💪
@g.w.3816 ah yeah, I definitely get that. Funny, I used to film at that kind of angle but some wanted it filmed from above 😅 I need multiple cameras it would seem 🙃😅
@@paintingpanzersthe view isn’t exactly square to the table making it very disorientating. It seems that Lende is actually pointing back to where you are sitting and not actually straight down in a 90 degrees angle

@bearcub460 WOW! Thank you for my first super 😍 it really does mean so much to me 🤩 In terms of the straps, plasticard is a great option! If you want something quick and straight you could try brush strands from a cheap dust pan and brush set?
@@paintingpanzers If you buy the Scipio Africanus’ Roman Legions set can you already do a battle with it or do you need to add more? (and what should you add)
Beautiful as usual. Real cracking paint job. You really inspire me to get on with painting my own. Just got me a Roman sprue, so maybe that one next. Or the Roman cavalry would be nice to see. Can't wait to see your take on the generals when you get them also. But in short, a really good job as per usual.
Great paint scheme, the mini diorama is one of the benefits of smaller scale larger base projects, it makes things feel more dynamic and alive. I'd love to see some of the Italian hoplites from the allies sprue.
Hi 👋 yes I do use other techniques for painting the other equipment. If you check out my 1/72 Playlist you'll see lots of videos showing how I paint those 😉 I don't really dry brush though, layering is my game 😄
Another superb video 👍🏻 Just rewatched your originals so definitely a simpler method here (not least consolidating your washes/glaze into the 1 step!!) My AB SS have just arrived along with some Adler & Elhiem so time to try out your various techniques 😧 What colours did you use for trousers & non oak leaf helmets as they look great too. Sniper video sounds good & wishlist for future would include SS Planetree, which don’t think you’ve tried yet plus winter Germans & GIs (could be perfect timing with Bolt Action 3 release) also US GI 43 uniform & British Commandos. Should be enough to keep you busy for a bit! Thanks again for your brilliant videos they’re awesome & keep them coming.
Thanks a lot buddy, I really appreciate that. The technique is really easy to follow, just don't rush the process (like I tend to do ... lol). I use AK Interactive AK11425 and 11424 for the non-camouflaged items. I base 11425, wash (as per video), layer and then mix 25 & 24 (2:1) and then final highlight at (1:1) ... hopefully this makes sense. I have a video out on this technique soon but it should be on some of my older videos too. Planetree is definitely planned and I love your thinking with regards to the winter infantry aligning with Warlords latest news. Thanks! I really appreciate the excellent comment with all these ideas, it'll definitely keep me busy!!
