As a society we must be careful not to be rigid. Someone being restless could be stimming. People need to be more understanding. Aggression is off putting but being restless shouldn’t be. There are autistic people who are constantly stimming so will that be off putting? Also people who are close when having a great and exciting conversation will talk over each other not to be rude but that is how people are. We cannot make human interaction so rigid. Yes looking at your phone is bad manners if on social media and scrolling when with someone. However it depends what they are doing on their phone and for how long. People could be getting important communication and cannot always give you undivided attention. If I’m talking to you and throughout our communication you are just looking at me (eye contact) I would feel uncomfortable 😂🤞🏾 eye contact here and there okay but not throughout our interaction.
What does it mean when someone states tge truth but still changes the topic or interject as a distraction to skip the topic and bring up something else ?
Hey there, that’s an interesting question. There a couple of reasons why someone interjects after replying truthfully to a question. It could be that they aren’t all that comfortable with the question or that they aren’t comfortable with sharing any further details on the topic. So that’s why they try to change the topic so you don’t ask follow up question. Hope that answers your question?
@niyserenjiy Honestly, I believe it depends on what the question or topic is. If it’s something that’s personal to them, I think it’s best to respect their wish and let it go but if it’s something that concerns you or that’s important to you for whatever reasons, you can ask them plainly why they are trying to change the subject and insist on your follow up questions. You don’t need to manipulate anything, just be straight forward.
I'm 44. I still suck my thumb in private. I sometimes take out a section of my hair to play with. As a child, my hair could never stay combed because of it. My left hand is always in a fist because I use the others to cover and protect my thumb. Lord, I need therapy.
Thanks for sharing. Yes, there are a lot of people who thumb suck in private as well. And there are ways to stop it. I'd be sharing a video on that tonight.
Oh you have no idea 😂😂 I always have to turn off the fan and AC cause my mic picks up noise easily, since it isn’t a wireless mic. So I have to endure the heat so the audio doesn’t get any kind of noise in it. I Want to give you the best😊
