I agree that respect is important for the sake of the individuals who died, however, like many outside observers, I do believe that some Americans are prone to degree of fantatacism or to the deification of their state. For instance, to insist that anyone who "denigrates" America is insane is a truly amazing fallacious remark, but one which aptly reveals the reflexive and ideological prism through which thought is elicited.
i was there back in August, and i saw the guard change, it was great, it's a real honor for these men to guard the tomb of the unkowns, only about 20% of all volunteers are acceped for this

I something will happend which could force me to leave germany, there or so many other countrys in this world. New Zealand, Australia, Africa, Canada and so on.... so why are you so proud to think america is the only country in this world where I can go.

The tour group leader was speaking Polish about the rocks, and by a bizarre coincidence, I had a motorized toy as a child, a lapidary, that used sand and a tumbler to polish rocks, bahahahahah!
Back in 2005, our high school marching band went on our trip to D.C and walked through Arlington up to the changing of the guard ceremony. Over 100 high school students - perfectly silent. it made me cry. that is how good this ceremony is.
