Great video. Thanks for posting. Mt Taylor is a beautiful mountain, however its only the 12th highest peak in New Mexico (at 11,301 ft). The tallest mountain is actually Wheeler Peak (13,167 ft).
I suspect he meant on the CDT. That would definitely make sense, since the majority of western/southern NM is nowhere near as high as the Sangre de Cristos.
