I have this same bike. Love what you have done to it. Were the rear crash bars an exact fit? Wheel covers are something I haven't seen before and they look great.
I paid around $1300 or it. I think I got a good deal. I got it back in March and have ridden 1100 miles and counting. My only complaint is the seat tube design-sits too tall when using a suspension seat post. I've not had to contact thier customer service for warranty or replacement parts.

Trip odometer reset operation The display can record trip odometer and odometer. Trip odometer is not automatically reset after turning off. The trip odometer needs to be reset manually. Enter into the main setting interface and keep the speed at 0, press and hold and simultaneously for 2s to reset the trip odometer. The main interface will flash during the reset process.

6.15 ODO resets setting 15P is the ODO resets setting. The display can choose the following: 00→non reset, 01→reset. Press to enter the parameter changing state. Press the / to select the parameter and press to save the parameter setting and return to the personalized parameter setting interface.
I see the bike as a stepping stone to a Harley but don’t waste money and time on making it somewhat to a Harley it’s like getting a jap car and trying to make it into a Ferrari it don’t work leave it be trade it then get a big twin

Nice I've got almost The Identical bike I picked it up a couple of weeks ago in southern Missouri Ozarks I've seen a handful of these come up for sale this year and at a great price and beautiful condition mine is a 2006 VN 800 5ooo,mi,,, Indian Drifter .I love the fishtail pipes but I don't have them I will probably have to make my own rear crash bars they are a must keep the bike off the ground when dropped. and I've been riding all my life I'm 68 years young but I have a spinal cord injury from falling off of motorcycles and HORSES,N MORE😢HAVE SPINAL CORD INJURY that's 30 years old already. so I have weak legs paralyzed ankles metal rods up my back😮 but this is one of the heaviest bikes I've ever owned and that's a new learning curve.. but I love the old Indian look, how else could a man afford the old school bike Harley or Indians without being rich ? that's why it was either now or never. UNLESS when we get to heaven I can build a motorcycle and Island hop from planet to planet someday😊. I love your bike, thanks for sharing I wish you would have sounded the pipes with a little REV . also where can I get parts what's the best place ?
You should get know the story of the Drifter’s origins. It’s a very interesting story. In short family member of the Indian motorcycle company designed this bike to look like a 48 Chief.
@@LeatherSkin1955 the crash bars came off a 96 Vulcan classic and had to be modified to fit. Seat rail is a for a Harley and also had to be modified to fit

@@joeblasia1427 and they fit right on your 800 Drifter they really make a a bike look good if you're going to have crash bars you need them in the back too especially if you lay the bike down it will save it thank you hey it looks like they attached with the passenger foot Peg bolts? And also under the seat solid frame Bolt hole?😮 is that true sir thank you

I tried to pair it with my iPad but it doesn’t connect. I paired it with my iPhone with no problem. I think I paired it to the iPad before pairing it with the midi device so what can I do? I tried the “forget this device “ on the iPad but it still doesn’t connect to the iPad. Any help would be greatly appreciated
I'm having an issue with this bike, curious if you've had it. When I'm on it sometimes for even just 5 mins the bike dies. I have to plug it in to get it to turn on again. However I tried removing the battery and putting it back on today and it worked again. I'm struggling to get it sorted or figured out waiting on the seller responding
The rear motor works with the peddle assist from levels 1 to 5. The front motor has a switch that you turn on and then it's worked off the rotary throttle on the right hand hand grip.
You can reset the trip setting, by holding the handbrake. Press the top side button on the pedal assist control, while pressing the minus button. Hold for five seconds and it will reset to zero. You can't reset the total miles ridden. But you can reset the trip.
You can also set the cruise control while riding by: Holding the throttle on the desired speed, while pressing the minus button for five seconds. A circle will appear in the display confirming the setting. Pedaling, touching the brake, or engaging the throttle will disengage
Ok so when you removed the rear motor did you use the same stock tire and rim and if so where did you get your sprocket i want to do the mid drive motor because i am in the mountains and we have lots of hills
Hello I am trying to convert my bee cool ebike can you tell me what kit you used and I also am trying to find where to find the new rear wheel to get rid of the rear motor any help would be great thank you
A replacement hub motor is more practical than a mid-drive for an Adventurer. The mid drive has torque but it adds a lot of stress to the chainstay and rear wheel. I have a bbs02 and currently searching for a 3rd replacement rear wheel set.
thanks for the video. I am trying to send midi messages from the gx 100 footswitches to Loopy pro via the bluetooth dual adaptor but i cant get it to work. The ipad can send midi messages to the gx100 but not the other way, Anyone with advice/solution? Thanks in advance.
Someone knows the reason why when I connect my boss gx 100 to the iPad 11 pro (4 gen) with usb, the iPad doesn’t recognize the pedalboard ? I use GarageBand.
