I had 9999 HP 999 MP and Knights of the round usable that's why in the OG versions of FF7 the HP MP switch materia still SUCKS and it still will IF KoTR EVER becomes summonable for bosses in the FF7 remakes once Carry armor shows up.

you can put Octaslash in quick menu pressing L1. You just have to repeat chapter 1 to play Sephiroth and costumize the moves. This can help you just to be more quicker if you want. Exerlent run.
Ive been learning him. Parry to counter is the hardest. The easiest is squarex4 and telluric fury then shift slash for limit. Dude I can't imagine how they'll handle Vincent and Cid. I hope they make Vincent have a loud capgun like shot. Ideally, more powerful shots than Barret. I'm not sure what skills he would have because it has to be different. Cid i have a perfect idea. His ideal combat would be like using Sonan! Or like using the double saber in PSO episode 1 (GameCube). Maybe they'll model him after Freya I just really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really hope that's a lot of really that he will have a cigarette during combat to light a firework haha. Jump materia, but one that levels up to do jump and then high jump and then maybe super jump kind of like high braver. Seriously part 3 needs to get here! All hail sephiroth combat.
Beautiful work, my go to for these brutals is Brumal spam Aerith ward and doppelganger Yuffie with Quaga. It MELTS enemies. MELTS THEM. lol. It is fun to do the brutal challenges now without the cheese though. I'm doing them too. Just to get some variety and utilize other characters since I've been using only cloud and Z/S
It went pretty well but I've been busy with work, I'm going to try play some regular challenges on dynamic at level 70 with Japanese text and stuff. Note, I don't know any Japanese lol. @@Ty4ler
Nice! I was just thinking about how I usually only see the few insanely hard (most complained about) challenges Rulers BoF Hero and such. Before my console got messed up a little I was gonna do every challenge and make a playlist and upload. Good work, well played as usual. PS I tried the HP/MP swap with reraise in BoF bcuz I saw your vid and it's so satisfying to throw down the best limit over and over haha. Though I think synergy should power up the existing set limit break/ bestow buffs rather than be necessary without an accessory to get to the higher levels. Still run I'm ready for part 3 combat sims, just hope they give us even more and more options (like play as non party members and expand their move pools) 👍

Im so ready for part 3 haha I still got a couple more challenge runs I want to do in rebirth but I get what you mean when you say that . I personally think they should give us a small dlc with a few more combat sim challenges and a new summon just to hold us over until part 3 hits …. It will be pretty sad to wait 3-4 with nothing in between so I really hope square at least gives us something…
@@Ty4ler totally, I'm a huge supporter of getting a DLC even if they just give us one zone or a couple of enemies or just a few hours/a few different moves. Like with intermission they gave us kind of a test run for how the combat would be a little bit different and some synergy and the backstory didn't ruin anything, I'm totally in that camp. I'm actually back at remake sometimes the only thing stopping me from doing the Platinum is collecting every outfit for cloud and hard mode without cushions lol. The hard challenges in Remake are pretty brutal (easier imo than rebirth) but still pretty repeatable. Unsure if you've done those, that's where I went for content when I finished Rebirth sim before getting a plat. Limited but eh, fun! I can think of a few open plot lines is that a DLC could fulfill but yeah. Super hype even if it's a long time away!
The HP <-> MP materia means his HP is always very low. Your limit Guage charges very fast when you have low health. When he's doing the limit break, he is attacked by the enemy. Of course, you are immune to enemy attacks while limit break is going on. These are counted as perfect blocks and charge the limit Guage. When your health is so low, perfect blocking 3x attacks is enough for full limit Guage.
I wish there was a tutorial on how to play with Zack like they have for the other characters. Trying to learn his abilities and fighting bosses at the same time is so stressful.
@@jazzy_bella I agree with this , I wish there were more trials to be able to fight with him instead of just going into the hardest fights in the game 😂. Would also be cool if we could pick specific rounds that we have already completed . A lot of times I just want to practice zack vs Odin or bahamut but gotta go thru the whole challenge just to fight them with him or Sephiroth
@@Ty4ler use cloud just to give him bravery spell with MP HP swap. This is a reference from OG when you get to play Sephiroth on the flashback nibelheim while cloud as low hp and dies at one shot.
Octaslash Prime is such a BEAST ATTACK! 😆 Would be great, if there were more trials one can play as Sephiroth. He has the best fighting style of all. 😅 A demonstration of how a soldier first class knows to fight. Looks like the WR so far! Nice. Storm's Fury is another reason I gotta keep playing. I hope part 3 introduces use of more ATB bars for that endgame materia from the original! Storm's fury seems like a test of that. Maximum Fury also. (Base 3 ATB Bars is my headcanon)

great run :o I can easily solo rulers with cloud or tifa but i dont think i could do it with barrett lol feels so clunky but u pulled it off real nicely
Thank you !! Yeah that’s what’s nice , every character has their own strengths and weaknesses making combat feel so much different…. His clunkyness actually isn’t that bad when you pair it with his tankyness lol , if you can do it with cloud n tifa I would suggest trying it with Barret too !! You may be suprised at how it is !
@@Ty4ler yh that’s my problem i think. when the playstyle of the char isn’t exactly flashy and therefore doesn’t rlly suit my aggressiveness i tend to write it off as clunky and never rlly get to go deeper. u inspired me to give Barret a try tho :D u may be right he might surprise me

Haha well at first when your learning the bosses it is good to mainly use one character but have a side character for heals… but it really comes down to skill in the end … I love how balanced this game is and how each character can shine in their own way !! Trial and error is necessary though …. Don’t expect to beat them solo first try with anyone … getting used to each character for each challenge is both similar and completely different at the same time !!!
