hello can i ask a question please. I am planning to go to seville next april for samana santa next year and was looking to go from the day before pal thursday to arrive and stay until the monday after easter sunday do you think this is the best time to go ?? also will buses be running from sevilla bus station to the city of sevilla on the wednesday before palm thursday ?. I went to semana santa in san pedro last year just for a night and was blown away by it.
This is a great time to go, but do make sure that you book everything in advance. Giving yourself a buffer is a great idea around the holiday to avoid rush. The bus station is in the old town, quite central. City buses run a different schedule during this time, as some streets are blocked off. A good idea, if it suits you, is to get a hotel somewhat central, such as EME Catedral Hotel, from the terrace you can see the processions from above.
thank you for your advice, i took it and had a look at booking myself in early in a hostel, got a bed in a hostel with breakfast thrown in very central for 95 euro,s for the 5 nights, gonna go wednesday before palm thursday then come back the monday after easter sunday thank you for your advice.
You're most welcome. I hope you really enjoy it. Make sure to visit the Flamenco Museum if you've never done it before - it is well worth it, honoring the folk nature of the genre while simultaneously elevating it to a sophisticated art.

I'm very proud of these students as they have been amazing good sports in putting up with my bizarre sense of humor. Not only are they great actors, but they are wonderful people in every way!
