Rastaman Builds is a channel dedicated to the art of automotive technology and repair whether it is a no start diagnostic or a service and repair procedure even to the extent of some body and paint projects. We perform many different tasks from time to time and hope to take you along with us. Its truly a mystery sometimes when at work, we never know what the fix will be so we share that experience of the journey.
Yeah they are a big headache... Not any super great fix other than straight up replacing them. If they're not actually experiencing 'rust jacking' and they're only damaged or worn out from removal you can take a 19 mm socket and pound it over all of the sockets to straighten out the caps... Make no mistake it still sucks but it will get stuck less 😂
I didn't even have to do all that...thank you. Found 2 lil leaves blocking on of the drains. Will keep my towel handy in case. My car is a 2020 maybe they are a bit easier to spot based on the recurrence
What you did wrong was opening the throttle body with your hand you supposed to press on the excelrater and its open when using any thing to open it will dis program the idle the you will have to re-learn the engine I had that problem before
My car had a hard start and couldn't figure it out then after I changed a few parts and the same problem I changed the plugs and one kick and it started
Yeah my 03 impala have plastic clips I pull up on and viola. Nowadays you have to remove the whole bumper and this and that and risk breaking clips. Bleh.
Had the same issue on my 18 f150 woke up to a flat tire. Went to change it and couldn’t get the lug wrench on. Had to bang it on and after 3 I gave up and took the spare beater. Ordered some one piece lugs online when I got to work and never had a problem after. When I went for my next oil change I asked the mechanic and he said he keeps a 21.5 mm socket for all the swollen lugs he takes off at the dealer
That is handy. As we can see you did it 1 handed. Little things like really help the owner of the car and let's face it I'm sure the assembly line workers also. 🛎️ #WhenTechsRockAmericaRolls #TechForce #techniciancareers #scholarships
