Setlist: Four on the Floor Lovestruck Rain Down Cryin’ Shame Let’s Make Love Tonight Riviera / Long Way Down Killing Floor I Just Want to Make Love to You
Anytime Cold Sweat plays, its a treat. ALL ORIINAL BAND and sounding amazing!!!! Met them at Monsters On the Mountain and it was amazing to see them all so happy to be there!!!
Geez that was some weaksauce. I thought Brian was their best "live" vocalist since Ron Taylor but honestly, after losing Ron, Stevie was never able to recapture that magic.
Hey, Caleb, I was as far from EVH at the 1980 Invasion show as that guy in the green t-shirt and black cap as he is from you. And my mouth was as wide open as it was hearing you.
This is actually worse than I anticipated. The vocalist isn't holding a candle to Ron. He was way off key several times. Let the band name rest in peace, this is just digging up her body to prop up for attention.
@@stevejude007 I am actually friends with Ron. As for the whole Steve's body remark, Ron got him where he is now. No Ron, Lillian would've died by 1990. I'll repeat myself because you seem to lack the intelligence to understand what I said the first time. Off key vocalist = bad Propping up a dead band = bad Lillian Axe should have been huge, because of the vocalist and both guitarists (SB/JS) Instead three record companies screwed them over, along with various other factors figured in. The talent was there. It's not anymore, 2/3 of what made the band work is gone. Jon is gone (RIP), Ron and Darrin refuse to come back. A rotating roustier of singers and players.... It's a project, and it has been since Ron left. It's been over a long time. Lillian died after the live 02 album. RIP Old girl.
Sorry bud, you should know that any sort of celebrity (actor, musician, etc...) is going to get critiqued. They're a public figure, that is part of the package. I'm brutally honest, sorry if i don't fall at your feet. You've never been able to take honest criticism, never ever. The first i pissed you off was at Dallas City Limits in 87 or 88. (it waa actual my best friend, Jason, whom you knew). He pointed out your guitar lost its tuning three songs in. He was scared to tell you, but i did. He was right, you got pissed off about it. That was just me telling you that you lost tuning before your encore. You stomped off, and incredibly you were tuned up again, for the encore. I've made you mad several times in the past because I'd tell you exactly what i thought, nkt what you wanted to hear. Jason stopped because he wanted you to be his friend. I feel like not telling a friend they've made a mistake isn't a good look. And you're right, Stevie, I've put nothing out in the world. My health is so bad, i can barely get out of bed, or walk more than ten feet.My hearing is shot (too many club concerts), my eye sight is horrible, got stuck in a divorce i didn't want for no reason. My life sucks, I'm aware of it, not much can be done to fix that. Is that what you wanted to hear in your deleted message? That you're sooo much better than I am? I'm not going to apologize for being honest. I refuse to lie about anything. It's not worth it. I do hope you get over your anger or hurt feelings.
OK, Jerry, I’ll give you a reply. First of all, you have every right to any opinion you have, but to be rude and inconsiderate is unacceptable. Get some things straight. Ron left the band 20 years ago. There’s no bad blood between us whatsoever. He wanted to move on to do his own thing, And he has been doing so ever since. if you are not a fan of anything beyond the albums that your friend sang on, that is fine. That must mean that you are not a fan of the songs, but just the vocals which is fine. I know you’re friends with those guys so you speak from that angle. However, they are still making music so you can continue to follow them. You don’t have any reason to troll us just because you don’t like any of the new albums without those vocals. Voicing your opinion is one thing, but being disrespectfully rude is another. Whether you approve or not, we have had nine more releases since 2005 and just signed a new deal for more albums coming starting next year. It’s one thing to not like something and just let it go, but it’s another to be as hateful in your comments as you have been. Ron is a great singer and he and I have absolutely no bad blood between us. He is doing his thing and we are doing ours. We wish him all the best and he is doing just fine. So there’s my response Jerry. I hope things get better for you and I’ll keep you in my prayers. And per your last comment, Nobody on this planet is better than anybody else. That is something you should think about next time you comment about somebody else’s hard work.
@@stevejude007 kind of ignores the elephant in the room. I was not mean or hateful. I pointed out that a public figure was off key several times, and pointed out that Lillian's time has come and gone. Unless you're Def Leopard or Iron Maiden or such, your time ended with grunge. I'm sorry that you think that anyone that says anything critical about a concert from a song is a bad person, because it's against what you want to hear. I guarantee the people that are raving about this live bit aren't the same ones who raved about it in 89 or so. The people now can't compare it to the pure awesomeness of hearing and seeing it then. And i actually am a fan if the songs, when they're done well. When they're not, i say something. Easy peasy.
No they’re not a cover band. Joel does an acoustic set on the cruise and plays both originals and covers. For some of the songs, he brings up guest musicians to play with him. So, as tight as they are, it just shows how talented these guys are with probably little to no practice together.
