What is coming out in Phase 7, is that it is ‘business as usual’ for the Post Office in the way they are thinking of subpostmasters. For example, employing, and re-employing the very people who were involved in making the Scandal to oversee the ‘compensation’ process! I thought we’d heard it all, but no. The Post Office still has depths we haven’t plumbed yet. Like you, I was outraged and infuriated to be dragged in as part of ‘The Taxpayers’ to put further screws on the subpostmasters. I want taxpayers’ money to refund the subpostmasters, and then I want to see that taxpayers’ money refunded by the villians who carried out this appalling swindle.

The fact Mr.Jason Beer KC exposed the new SPM contracts are more legally damaging to SPM's epitomises how toxic POL is,.. AND,..there is likely to be another bomb shell dropped because the computer system in place before the Horizon system had the same issues as the Horizon..and this is being investigated... Please remember the core issue for POL & Government, is who is going to pay the SPM's the compensation - The Government will not want to pay out as they will blame POL..but POL will blame govetnment as the major shareholder.. Just wait till Sir Wyn Williams publishes his report THEN watch the mass panic by POL..because I have no doubt whatsoever that there will be multiple criminal proceedings..

As for the shops, having noticed the price gone up and the quality gone down in M&S, let alone the others, I now shop mainly in Waitrose. Excellent quality and truly wonderful staff! I think I 'liked' your occado review video but I never do online shopping, apart from when I once bought a little German friend, Tomas, but even then I had to give the money to one of granddaughters to buy him, as I'm ocd about my banking security. When I received Tomas he was wonderful. He was available whenever I needed him. Sadly, I had to donate him to charity as I had no room in my car for him when I was forced out of where I was living! As for John Lewis I went on the other day to get the quality street pick and mix. Really lovely sales assistant told me that this is the last year they are doing this as the new Boss of John Lewis wants to focus more on premium gifts and chocolates in 2025. In the first instance they are asking for their OWN money back! This money was taken from them to ‘repay’ a loss/shortfall that did not exist……..in another situation this would be called theft or fraud. The second instance is restitution for loss of income caused by their dismissal from the position as postmaster/mistress And third is compensation for the hurt and distress caused by the actions of the Post Office Management. It is not for any authority to make decisions on the first part. Each and every one of these cases required a given amount of money to be repaid by the postmaster. GIVE IT BACK! This could be done tomorrow!
