Ive said it for awhile now. Id bet good money Mason gets an HRC spot by 2026. I know its a coveted ride, i get it, but i dont think there is a better combination of raw talent, bike mechanic knowledge and where he reaply shines-naviggation! I cant think of many guys who are better, IF you account for ALL aspects. Sure, some guys might be a tad more quick in certain scenarios, and sure, some guys might know a bit more mechanically speaking-but i dont think there is a better rollie-chart navigator on the planet. It takes all three to get results. Plus a good bike. Thank god your ride with the Chinesium Express Team (😂) went bye-bye, probably the best thing that could have happened for your career.
Stoked to see you ride with Honda Brazil and hope you have more support for next years Dakar. You’re a great talent and character for rally, any big team would do great to have you ride for them.
Rebuilding bikes in the desert is part of "never stop" attitude you require for the Dakar and you have it in spades. Here's hoping the next run will deliver fewer obstacles and less friction.
Gotta say I knew OF you before this years Dakar but I became a fan after this, was fun following ya. Mad props for jumping on an untested bike and sending it, I still see comments on douyin of Chinese people saying things on other bikes like, "Yea but that bike is not Mason tested." :) Onward to more badass riding!

Oh my god, at 1:08 I was taking a shortcut back to where I was on the roadbook after I went back for a broken fuel line and caught up to you guys filming all your sick power slides and was so embarrassed how slow i was going once I realized you were filming 😂
My reason for travel to Brazil was to meet the Honda Brazil team be apart of the official photo shoots and do some cool media stuff. In addition I got to try the race bike which helped me understand what I would need to be successful in Brazil this season. I am racing the 5 round rally series in Brazil this year but I am still looking for a ride at Dakar.
