How would I start it from a loop as the start? Like I folded the strings in half, did forward backward knots to make a loop. Now I’m trying to start it and it’s looking like a knot mess!
Since this pattern doesn’t mirror, doing just a threaded/teardrop loop unfortunately won’t work (unless you do some extra complicated things to make it work😅). I’d recommend making the threaded loop, tying all the strings together into one group with a square knot, then looking into triangle ends and starting the bracelet that way!
That’s very typical! You need to knot your first few rows looser in the ^ shape so that that doesn’t happen 😊 the inverse chevron will eventually turn out right but it’s easier (and way cleanser) if you keep your tension loose at the start and create the peaks yourself first!
Do you think if I had an online store for these bracelets, would it be successful? Because I think this type of bracelet is old in style and no one likes it, but this one looks very wonderful.
Friendship bracelet making is a pretty niche hobby but there are plenty of online shops that are successful. Marketing is also a very important part of that too. I’ve never sold bracelets online but you won’t know how successful your shop will be until you try it out yourself 😊

Do you think it would be helpful to follow along while reading the subtitles? I know the auto generated ones aren’t perfect (and I’m slow to manually add them LOL), but I’m suggesting that and asking about it only because it would take quite some time for me to write down the instructions!
@@Craftanatic I'm sorry, I think it's closer to 11:08 mark, where you make the last knot on the bottom right of the "butterfly". I feel like there are a couple "extra" steps" or "repeated steps" in there....I'm going to do it a couple more times and try to get more specific.
At 10:40 you say to do a forward knot with the yellow onto the blue, and then at 11:13 you do another forward knot with the yellow onto the blue. It seems like this step was repeated bc the string to the right of my yellow at that point was a black one but maybe I’m missing something idk. Everything seemed to work out fine when I just skipped that one knot.
@SofiaSavenelli-eg9ow I SEE IT NOW!!!! I think you are completely correct on this! 11:13 is completely an error. I can see right after I make that forward knot with yellow onto blue, the next cut was like the knot hadn’t even happened at all. So I must’ve done some weird editing error where I put that step in twice. I have no clue, but I am going to fix this as soon as I can!!! Thank you SO MUCH for that!!
@nicolecrone3272 you don’t need a specific string order when you make triangle ends, you just make sure your bracelet ends in a V shape so you can do it
@nicolecrone3272 unless you want to for aesthetic purposes, you don’t need to make an outline to make a triangle end. All you need to do is make sure your knots form a V shape before doing it.
