Some of these idiots don't realize these machines were solely designed to thin young trees, especially pine plantations. They were small and versatile and desinged not to destroy the remaining trees. Of course newer machines are faster, but also quite expensive. We purchased a new 33T model in 1985 for around $65,000 and it worked quite well for thinning red pine plantations.
I bought a new 34t in 1987. Mine had a 3 cylinder Deutz and a shear head. It didn’t have AC and about half the ground travel speed of this one. I could cut 2 trailer loads a day of 8ft wood in a first thinning and the forwarder operator drove the truck.

Makeri was originally designed and manufactured in Finland in the early -80's. As well as this 34T model. have you modified the sawhead from guillotine?
Hello! I have got one lokomo makeri 34T machine! I need help information harvester head! Have you got some picture? I would like to transform my machine harvester head. could you send me technical data from modified head? Please send information my email address: kovacssziva@citromail.hu Tank you! :) Good Machine!
sorry it took so long, but the head on this machine was custom redesigned to accept a saw base. also the frame was lengthened to accept a larger 4 cylinder engine. The larger engine also helps with counter balancing the machine when dropping a tree. I can take some pictures of it and e-mail you them thanks for the comment
