I have a pretzl reactik plus. Not just a simple headlamp, so I'll go through some of the most important specs and I'll say what I think about it. It has 300 lumen. So it's more than enough for alpine use, thrailrunning and those kind of things. One of the main features is reactive lighting. Which means if you're in a dark place if automatically shines some brighter and if you're in a lighter place it shines some lighter. If you're reading a map up close it'll shines some lighter so you won't be blinded by your own light. It's not favourited by everyone, but you can turn if off so you won't have to use it. My experience is that it works fine. This is off course for handy usage and to save battery life. The batteries are in the back and are chargeable with a normal telephone charger. So it's really practical. The (dis)advantage is that it's a battery and its up to you how to use the light. I like to have a light that works on triple a batteries, because it's easy to take a backup with you. You can buy an extra accu, but you're carrying something that isn't generally usable. You can buy an adapter for triple a batties as well. The disadvantage is that you have 40% of the output and the reactive lightning won't work. The feature of the bluetooth is that you can check your battery life and you can set a profile as well. It has an SOS function. You can send an SOS signal, but you can send your own signal as well. You have to decide whether to use the bluetooth or save battery life. To send a SOS by using bluetooth is really useful when you're with a victim. One of the first reactions people have is that the light is quite big. You won't have any trouble with it, because it isn't really heavier than a usual headlight. That's partly becaues of the band. The band is broader in the back and it has two adjustable clips in the back. I head no trouble while running. It fits really well. One disadvantage is that the buttons don't press well. When you press the button you don't have the felling that you're pressing the button. Sometimes the light won't turn on and you have to press quite hard to turn it on. To turn it off you have to press it longer. I rather have a light that turns on and off with a single press on the button. It fits quite well since it's so big.
