Hey sis where I live at I have no one to do my locs so I would love any info to help me because I'm doing it myself and I'm def interested in your products
Just like you, I was not going to call my starter Locs Phase/ the ugly phase because when I first started I fell in love with it right away. I have recently dyed it bright burgundy color. In of September will be a year since I started my loc journey.
Hello beautiful ❤I'm on my second set and I'm learning still. I have natural gray hair and yes it gets a bit unruly😢 does a product work on gray hair to Make it act right?(I'm to the point ion even stress on the two week maximum hold for a retwist) I actually go mths between retwist and by that time ion even look like I have locs😅😅
Ive been thinking about getting locks for a while now, and this video really helped me out! I have 3c/4a hair and Ive always wanted to feel more connected to my crown, and the beauty of locs are not only a statement, but a way of love for natural hair. Cant wait to start mines next week!
Literally I’m pissed off cuz I’ve been growing my dreads for 4 years almost and I’m literally just finding out that retwisting and interlocking are two complete different things, idk if it’s my fault or my mom and sisters cuz I’d literally make it clear I wanted a retiwst ive never mentioned the word interlocking, my whole loc journey I’ve been wondering why my dreads are thinnin so fast wondering if I should cuz my dreads cuz my hairs falling out or somthing whole time it’s cuz they’ve been interlocking I’m boutta cry id have the sexiest dreads ever too cuz they started out so beautiful 😭😭
Ah I’m so sorry to hear that! It’s definitely possible for you to switch over to palm roll afyer you let your roots grow out some. But yea, the thin locs are definitely due to the interlocking 🥺
Hello, I'm interested in trying to start locks, but I'm concerned because first, my hair is baby fine and thin 2nd my edge is just trying to fill in and last my hair is short and I don't think it would take /last.
I would need to see your hair to give a good assessment! Check out my video comparing 2-strand twists and coils ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o1JKQ6H8P2E.htmlsi=A8YrgndLr9k99GAx
Hii, Ive had my locs for about 4 years now and slowly started getting in the pool last year since i've gotten them. I wanted to know how long can I go without washing them after coming into contact with chlorine. I'm afraid to cleanse my hair because I swam yesterday, but I believe I will this upcoming weekend. Will it damage my hair any to do it soon twice so soon?
Can you do both? Palm rolling if you can’t interlock but then interlocking? Interlocking takes such a long time 😢 but palm rolling doesn’t last past the wash.
I have had my locs for abt 4 yrs and it this one dread in the very front of my hair that Is thinning out in the middle area of the dread but the roots is growing wat type of maintenance might I need?
The retwist is so fresh and the locs are definitely looking good You are literally a road map for me and my loc month counter 😂 I will be 7 months in a bit
I would love to see a video on interlocking with fine hair! I just got some small starter locs and I’m trying to figure out if I should palm roll or interlock…I do workout a lot and I’m not sure if the palm roll would last…I need help!
I’ll add that to the list of things to talk about, but I’ll share that I used to interlock my aunt’s locs (she has fine hair) but we stopped because her locs were getting skinnier and she didn’t want that. So it’s up to what you want and if your locs can handle consistent interlocking without breaking. You can schedule a consultation with me if you still need help deciding! Good morning, I have two strand twist but it’s with fake hair (should I take that out and start over? ) I want to start my process at certain length and I don’t know what’s the best human to use or should I just do it all natural ? Plus I do swim a lot will me having fake hair help keep it twisted ?
my loc twin 🥹 we made it to 6 months!! i started w slightly longer hair but girl we have the same exact hair texture and your updates give me so much JOY
I ❤your locs I am six months in but my hair want locs at the root I have soft hair and it’s curly at the roots I am ready to give in because I don’t like the way it looks 😢
This is my second time with locks and it's different from the first time my hair is a little bit longer than hers and I'm 6 months in as well let's all grow together ❤️
You should be in the budding stage or closely approaching it, its gonna take a lot more time for them to lock at the root. On my first set of 6 years, a lot of my locs weren't locked at the root and I have the same soft texture hair like you.
@@emjay6453same, on my second set and I think the process is going a lot smoother than my first set, its like my hair understands what I want it to do since it has been dreaded before. Going on 3 months now.
