It's still running on Amazon Prime! I'm buying all 5 seasons (but not all at once!) from Amazon -- I think 'The Magicians' is becoming a cult/collec- able item, as the DVDs are quite expensive! But purchasing is better for me than watching on Prime, which eats up all my data allowance! But it's good to have a choice! 🙏🌹🙏🏽
Even with the actor leaving this show could have at least given us a few crumbs and had them actually reunite and share a scene together before they killed Q. I know the writers said something along the lines of it being real to life because you don't always get a goodbye but honestly does anyone want their fantasy TV shows to deal them the frustration and disappointment of real life? Personally I think it's just because they didn't want to have to actually address the relationship they had been building to. Which would also explain why no other character ever asked Q about his feelings for Eliot when he spent the whole season obsessively focused on the fact he couldn't lose him.
Well the show is a deconstruction of Fantasy. Sure in Fantasy there would've been a heartfelt reunion but the Magicians isn't like that. It's as depressing as Quentin was depressed.
As Q goes through the door to his destination - God of Fillory would fit perfectly, and yes i think the writers and producers are twisted enough to give us a year believing Q is gone...
@@sparkyroots369 You know, I think the same, I have hope, even now, I think maybe at the finally they can be together, I mean Alice, Quentin and Elliot, they deserve it T___T , Q it's my fav character I miss him so bad.
@@vicococeres Hi, actually Margot is my fav character, but the Alice, Q, Elliot dynamic is thrilling :-) The scene by the well was exactly what i needed to see but I wonder why Hale Appleman couldnt find some wet tears for that at the time.. I really miss Q too, I'm currently wondering how the many threads of S5 will come together and whether Q will feature in that, fingers crossed. He is or at least was, the main character focus and without him , the story seems quite random, leaving sentiment aside.
