13 of those 'wheelbarrow' loads if loaded to the same level, must equal more than 1/3 of a full cord. If that is the case, your splitter might have to be renamed 'slower than molasses going up hill in January'. Slow and steady wins the race and it sure beats splitting with a maul.

Wait...you were splitting Oak or Maple like the title/description says??? lol Overhead angle is good, however just remember the angle of the dangle must be inversely proportional to the speed of the log splitter while the moisture readings remain constant. 👍
The camera angle looking down from your deck is a good one. The suggestion I have for your firewood process, is to keep saving your nickels to get splitter a with a fast cycle time. It's a shame that some neighbours can be such a pain in the ass over dumb shit.
I bet you probably got poison ivy somewhere else after you used the restroom 😂?? Brother,…I’m 45, and every time I’ve had poison ivy since I was a kid,…it always got on my meat and potatoes, lol. I appreciate you sharing this product with us. I will for sure check it out.
I dont get it down there very often. Its actually seldomly ever been down there. Im pretty careful about that. Also i typically sweat out most of the moisture.
When it starts to get hot, I split for 45 mins, then rest for 15. I also wear a Camelbak to continuously swig on water. Having that, and taking those breaks makes a huge difference for me,…especially when I’m at all day.
Some times you just have to touch wood to much…Geez I’m trying to finish up a huge Black Locust here bud…I’ve handled this wood so much it’s insane. I can’t wait until it’s out of my yard haha. Enjoy brother.

I know I'm not always as efficient as I would like, probably shows in my videos. If we always keep it in mind, things should go quicker, and easier on the body..
A spicy tree! Lol that made me laugh. Working through the flow of your woodyard I like it. I always try to split then stack. I'll have to show you a technique I found that makes splitting more efficient.

Your like me Will, clean work area every time I Cut and Split wood. At the end of my Work Rack it Up and usually the next day put it in my mulch pile for future garden use. @@wolcottfamilyworks I had one once maybe 25 and suddenly a drone showed up. Sat and sat there by a barn, bout the time I decided to get a shotgun it took off. It went and went and went North til I couldn't see it anymore. I guess it was 5-6 miles. Nothing ever came of it but still...
That’s a crazy amount of wood! We have a lot of piles of sticks from fallen trees but not much logs. We are mainly using the logs to build our cabin and are documenting it on our channel. Love to see it nice and clean and can’t wait to see the next video!
A clean woodyard is an efficient woodyard. I see a lot of people (Chris in The Woodyard and your buddy Brad/Firewood At The Furnace) are getting away from stacking to save time. I can’t say that I blame them as I feel that the only time that firewood needs to be stacked is at the customer’s and they can dry it.

Nice feeling when you get done cleaning up. I did something similar yesterday and hauled off a full dump trailer of bark, splinters, and a generous amount of chainsaw debris.
Maybe you could force a length of wood in at the opposite angle of the cable, then secure it with a few screws through. Any, always nice to conquer misc. accumulation of rounds.
It's probably a combination of things. The metal frame twisting because you're tensioning the two corners that are trying to be drawn together (if you watch the timelapse you can see as you're tightening the cable the top of the latch side is flexing toward the outside of the gate), as well as the boards warping.
WD. Just an idea. Put a round next to ya to put the pieces you're not working on on instead of dropping them on ground. Its not a VS but vertical is vertical Can ya put a wheel on gate. It's heavy so it'll sag no matter what ya do. Think you'll need a diagonal brace welded into the frame
