I initially created this channel to help my brother learn and practice networking concepts on juniper devices while also creating simple how-to videos for the technical support engineers on my team
This channel is all about providing you with short network tutorials and tips that you can use to excel on your IT journey.
Here you will find new videos published every Monday @ 6PM EST
If you buy a 100 dollar monitor you have officially fixed all the actual issues with this camera. Autofocus isn’t an issue because it’s a cinema camera not a video camera. RAW and Pro-Res are also not an issue because again it’s a cinema camera. Not knowing if it’s in focus because the screen is fixed is the only real issue it has other than needing a speed booster. Buy a speed booster and a 7 inch monitor and you are golden.
Yeah, the sigma 17-50mm was the first lens I picked up. I was very impressed with the image quality. It's also more on the affordable side, now selling used for around $300.
I have that same setup and the viltrox speed booster with that lens causes vignette when in 4k DCI. Sometimes the controls for aperture would completely disappear, so I now just stick with manual lenses, and throw the sigma on my Ursa mini. With all that said still love the camera would be perfect with AF
I respect your opinion but disagree. It's better to have the options, such as a raw codec that includes an editor sweet, vs. being stuck in a cameras color science and inability to really push the footage. A simple LUT is a fix to that problem. Auto focus would be great but autofocus still isn't reliable or should I say a dependable option for film, which is what this camera is all about. This is an intro film camera, not a "hey, let's make a video" camera. Would love a different body, sensor size, mount and autofocus, but like the rest of us that bought into black magic, it's a great camera that makes you work and learn vs. a camera that is more of a scapegoat. Just my thoughts. Keep going and I wish you the best. Peace and blessings.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I get where you're coming from, I personally realized I was trying to make the film cinema camera into something it wasn't designed to be (a digital video camera), but perhaps when external autofocus systems get a bit smaller than what DJI is currently offering I'll find myself back in the Black Magic echo system. Peace and blessings to to you aswell!
Lol no worries at all. I initially picked up the Sony FX30 a couple months ago as a replacement. However, im currently checking out the Lumix S5iix as it looks like a better bang for the buck.
Hello, i purchased eve-ng pro and installed it successfully, but when i click on add an object i see only Docker and virtual PC. i don't see all list of nodes .. Could you please help . Thank you.
Hello there - I have a little bit of an issue and wanted to know if you could help me. I have the same setup lab you have in the video and using the same commands as you on eve-ng with this image version Model: vqfx-10000 Junos: 20.3R1.8 limited. and also this version Junos: 18.1R3-S5.3 limited but for some weird reason when I issue the command show interface terse I don't see the xe-0/0/x interfaces showing up
I work as a data tech pulling fiber and cable building out MDFs and want to get into the otherside of it. Where should I start? I know a bit about networking and setting up Aps and stuff.
Hey Jon, already changed to Static but i cant open on browser, even i put the right ip on the address bar. it says The Site can't be reached, is there something wrong. Tell me what gateway ip you refer in the video. coz i use 192.168.18.1 (Modem) but still cant reach
Hmm to reach it, you'll want to make sure the device is placed directly on your local network. So whichever the ip address is for the router your PC uses should work. You can identify this by running this command on your computer to identify your devices gateway: tracert 8.8.8.8
Hi Jon, I'm a university junior right know studying BCIS, and I'm very interested into diving into Networking. Hearing your story got me thinking if it is really worth it to finish my degree or to start working and take a similar path to yours.
Nice to hear you have an interest in the network engineering field. Either way you choose, I'd definitely recommend you take the time to pursue internships during the summer to gain hands-on work experience in the field as this can accelerate your IT journey.
Bro can you provide the solution to add ex switch or how to add template in pnet lab tell me please brother ...very need to work on them because company provide these to clients
Going to be watching a lot of your videos I think, starting on my cert journey beginning today. I know generally I want to be involved in networking but not where to specialize, trying to look at what work is available around me. Any advice?
