Ohhh Tuberose!! Even if that tuberose candle isn’t spooky if you pair it with another Halloween candle, it would just bring it to another level! Tuberose can be done in a spooky way .
Halloween is my #1 holiday EVERRR!! Love it!! HOWEVER,I prob won’t pick up Carnage only because I’m not sure it would be a fragrance that I would reach to burn often. Not sure I want my house to smell metallic. Would be a great collectors item and I probably would purchase it if it wasn’t $34 It’s not cheap and I have to keep my list reasonable. I am a huge Halloween lover!! I’d be happy with Halloween year round! I am obsessed with packaging and labels like the next person, but in my opinion, it’s about the fragrance and what’s inside the jar when it comes down to it for me.
Hey there!!! My husband and I ordered all 6 of the new candles along with some fall wax melts to try out. We used your code this year as well. What I love about Kringle candles is that they are conceptional. Been purchasing their candles for years. We also have a couple of their much older Halloween candles when they were done with paraffin wax, so we know what we are getting into when it comes to Kringle. I always tell people that they are not for everyone. I like dirt type of candles. Is Six Feet Under anything like Witch City Wick's, Holy Ground? I love that one. I've always wanted a candle that smelled like wet leaves and dirt. If I would create one I would call it "Dank" LOL I immediately thought of Halloween's, Michael Myers when I had seen the label for Carnage. I can see how some would be put off with this candle just by reading the scent notes. I'm a Halloween fan, so I'm very curious about this one. Thank you for the review!
I think this is my favorite Kringle release this year, even though the art print collection seems a little haphazard. Probably some of those florals will have stronger patchouli or woods burning than they do on cold, but that rosewater matcha scent definitely doesn't need a creepy clown on it, lol. I would have been super interested in it six months ago, but a lot less so now, and I really don't want that label. I love the spell collection, though. It's the kind of not-for-everyone thing Kringle used to do more of, and I like that they really committed to the target audience. That collection is for people who do Halloween all year, but aren't actually Wiccans (the themes and ingredients don't seem to line up, and also, "Hexes On My Exes" is too tongue-in-cheek for serious practitioners). That's a narrow niche, but a real one, and definitely includes some Kringle customers. And also, it's obvious that a lot of people will hate everything about that collection, lol, and that's entirely their right, but also, entirely their problem, not mine. Overall, these candles feel on-brand for Kringle, and not automatic "nope from me" like practically everything else they've released recently. Whether I actually want to spend $34 on any of these is a different question, but at least Kringle is back on my radar.
The scents of the first two of the Spellbound candles you reviewed sound amazing. I wish the artwork on these were more reflective of Halloween though. I do not believe in hocus Pocus of any kind so I will definitely give these two a try. 😂 The artist collection doesn’t interest me at all. I love florals but not for Halloween. I also find the AI artwork on those very dull and boring.

Same! That collection seems well-thought-out and fun to me. They're aimed at people who do Halloween/witchy stuff year-round rather than people who want it just for a novelty in October, and the removable crystals are the kind of thing I expect at the $34 price point. It's a limited edition collection aimed at a limited audience, rather than yet another general-audience release that's only limited for collector's value.
I love a witchy aesthetic and the gem stones are a nice touch but actual spells are a little too much for me. I totally agree with most of these comments! Kringle is known for their awesome Halloween launches, but they have went dark with it now n this crap shouldn't be messed with, imo! First it was Carnage, a bloody knife scent n now spells! Idk about that! That isn't anything to play around with! I do luv the black cat on the pumpkin n the scent sounds great n the labels are beautiful! I also like the witch one too, but not the scent tho! I can't do florals at all! I like the more old school cutesy Halloween like from 2 years ago n was hoping to see some 3 wicks as well! Idk, I just hope that the people who do order the spell candles are very careful because inviting that crap in ur home can be a very scary thing, imo! To each their own! Tip: if u write a review for a candle that u purchased, sometimes they will send u a 25% off coupon to use on full priced items in ur email! That's wat I did n it saved me some extra money! 🎃
You do know Halloween is supposed to be fun right? I don’t get why everyone is freaking out over this, if you don’t like it, don’t buy it. But no need to be acting like the world is ending just because the rest of us actually like these candles.
The witch cauldron ones are a no from me. Even if I like the sent notes, it’s the fact that they put actual spells on the candles and stones in them that’s an immediate no from me. People shouldn’t dabble in witchcraft and that spiritually dark stuff. It’s not a joke. I hope those who pick them up end up being careful. Don’t open a door when you don’t know what’s coming through it.
I'm Wiccan, and those magic candles are not "real", and are probably for the Harry Potter-type fans. Although the fragrances sound pleasant, the ingredients are off in all the Spellbound collection , at least based on actual folk magic traditions,. The spell chants are more out of Charmed or Bewitched. It is really just a expensive Halloween decoration, with the real problem being that you spent over $30. Things like these candle are only a concern if the candle owner thinks they are,

Who has room to store all these clunky jars? I was hoping for their 3-wicks, specifically Hallowed Ground and/or Ghosts&Goblins from two years ago. I won’t be purchasing any. Which is fine I guess. No sense getting attached to a fragrance they probably won’t bring back anyway.
I wish you could choose your scent and then what label you want to go on it. For some, I want the scent but not the label and vice versa. Like the one with ghosts in the woods should smell woody and/or smoky, not like rain. But that’s just me. Black Cat on Pumpkin is a must.
Lol, right? I sometimes consider just printing out a picture I like and taping it over a different label, but I would want to be sure it was heat-resistant tape, and by the time I've thought that far, it seems like too much work.

Thanks for bringing us these, Brett. What a gorgeous collection, especially the art prints. I love that Kringle puts so much thought into these and they are year round candles so you can have a little bit of spooky all year. Can’t wait to add these to my collection. Nobody does it like KC.
great video brett and thanks for show casing these! was going to ask is it safe to burn with the little gemstones inside or do they need to be removed prior to burning?
My local "New Age'y" gift shop sells gemstone candles, and they say it is safe it the actual fire does not engulf the stone. Even Big Lots has some candles this Halloween with stones in them, so it must be a big trend.
It's not safe, but it's widely done anyway, and usually nothing bad happens. I think it's one of those things like eating raw cookie dough, where the risk is real, and there are documented bad outcomes, but the reward is also real, and the bad outcomes are rare enough that people either don't believe in them, or think the risk is worth it. I'd take the crystals out, but I think leaving them in is a valid life choice.
Great review! Appreciate you putting in the work to get this out to us quick! I kinda' called the Country Candle style jars but then again, not exactly. Relieved I'm not interested in many of these note-wise but I'm pumped for all of the floral fans out there. Some of the Spellbound ones sound good but zero interest in supporting full on witchcraft. Disappointed in Kringle for making spell candles. That stuff is real and should not be messed around with. I really enjoy their Halloween candles but they’re overstepping a line that should not be crossed and people will be opening spiritual doors that should stay closed.
I’m glad you said that. I 100% agree. It is real and the demonic realm love that you think it’s “fun” or “cute” or “not harmful”. I love candles but also do deliverance ministry. Yes, demons are real and they ruin your life. So having “actual spells” on the candle invites good (at first, they expose as ‘light’) and then you’re trapped and no more light. I pray people wise up to this reality.
You have to give it to Kringle for thinking outside the box for these candles. I'm surprised they went with floral scents for Halloween, but Kringle likes to be known for unusual Halloween candles that are memorable. The art on the Art Print collection is really cool. I don't want anything to do with witches and spells, however.
@@engr998 Halloween is my favorite holiday, with Christmas behind it. I absolutely love Kringle Halloween, but the spell candles are not something I want to mess with. To each their own. Wish the Conjuring Spells and the money candle were in a different form (those scent notes speak to me). Maybe they will bring them back in Halloween Country jars next year (minus the spells).
Hey Bret!! 😊You did great on these!! The jars so pretty . Witch spells😮 are not for me.. but I will say that the amethyst stones represent healing. These might not be wicked spells but maybe healing and peace haha but I don’t really know. I’m just staying safe and stick to the 1st release which is awesome!! Just a warning if you're going to chant those spells you may think it's all just fun and games but the problem is the demons don't. You may be inviting demonic activity into your home. Beware,they are real.
I definitely prefer the first launch with the new six Halloween candles that are just fun and games. Witches are for real and it's not fun and games. It's not right, something a christian can't have in their home.
I can’t get over how beautiful the jars and labels are on the Kringle candles. I wish so much that Spirit’s call scent notes were in one of the Kringle jars. Don’t get me wrong, I like the vessel it’s in but I just love those Kringle jars. Even a witchy scent in one of the Kringle’s would be amazing.
I like all the art print collection; they are nice looking and I enjoy florals besides maybe the strong rosewater scent. The country spellbound collection are nice looking jars & the stones are cute but a no go for me with the witch craft symbolism. Thanks for the reviews!

Hi Brett - Thanks for the update on the 2nd launch of Kringle's candles. I really only like the Black Cat on Pumpkin one because of the scent notes and image on the jar. I'll hold off on the Spellbound collection as I don't want to, possibly, invite that kind of stuff in my home. That's just me. I have ordered candles from small batch companies on Etsy which have had crystals on the top of them. They recommend removing them before burning. I am so glad I purchased 3 candles from the first launch the other night, and am looking forward to receiving them. Thanks for all you do.
I love the look of the ombre Kringle line! I especially like the cute black cat on a pumpkin. I think it'll be the only one I get. I'll respectfully pass on the spell collection.
