there are only two tier 1 green pages to pick from, so the third can only be a red one (you can see at 1:39 that aspiration is apparently a tier 2 page in this version of the game, and also its name was changed since then [now its called urging, i think? but im not sure])
@@nebulouz11 it's probably still possible now, but youd need to make sure you lose some clashes early to get negative emotion coins, and that probably means putting a weak card in your deck which makes things more Complicated™ (or you just start on a different stance and switch to guard after getting your negative coins) alternatively if youre just trying to beat her yourself and don't have to follow the solo restriction, you can just bring in another nugget or two to lose clashes and/or get killed off for the negative emotion coins, and it makes it much, much easier
Ruina is an easy game, so long as you understand the mechanics. If you fail to understand exactly what message the game is trying to teach you, then you will be walled. Mods are a different beast however, they can screw you like CENSORED on day 13.
@@Pigglyjaf chained wrath reduces all your speed to 1 and gives blunt dice 1-3 power. chained wrath DOES NOT do increase your maximium dice value by 3 and decrease your minimum speed by one.
I love how when R corp's "Mind Whip" misses and the user just stands there for a few seconds like: "Oh no." or "I'm so fucked" since whatever can beat mind whip's dice is definitely something eith crazy big damage once hit.
harvest is so good for a level 1 card. doesn't even have to be solo, bayard's page with harvest gets to just dump stagger damage on whoever and his punishment is getting 7 strength next turn
@@eee1453 mostly bayards page doing the work for the strength. A bayard with reaction force attributed gets a min of 5 strength off of ready position (the immobilize combat page) and 1 for free each turn regardless. any other source of strength from there pushes you over, and because you don't get locked into using pinpoint breakthrough after ready position, you can use the strength however you like and wait till a decent turn to dump all your SP to get guaranteed harvest gaming. courage is from the same floor as harvest and works really well. I may have gotten the number 7 from unstable charge, a passive I use so much more than I should? idk lol edit: thought I should mention chesed's floor has one of the few examples of a second source of self-immobilize that's actually worth it, though you're trading 3 of that 5 strength gain for a 40% health heal, a full light restore and 1 turn of stealth. overcharge is worse for him as you really need to build into charge to feel the same level of value (and Stealth is funny) anyways. bayard is cool and I feel like he gets underused for his utility.
Just spent the whole evening trying to get through second phase, then I saw this vid, and I won the fight few tries later. Thanks a lot man. P/s: I use puffy brume oliver + 4 canon folders with wrath of torment just to take some hits and do some damage. Just try to get through the first phase with recharge and you can really cheese through the second and third phase.
33 power on violet blade (gains 2x effect from power boosts), x2 from staggered opponent, x1.5 because purple tear's slash stance gives 50% bonus to physical damage
pretty good build, i just wanna say i found more consistent success by replacing [Repressed Flesh] with another copy of [Forward March] as well as replacing [Valerie's Page] with the [Church of gears Worshiper] page for [Puffy Brume]. the Smoke inversion from [Puffy Brume] + the extra damage from the 0-cost []Forward March allows for more consistent second turn kills, even without [True Trigram Formation] in hand, meaning you don't need Val's [Mind Hauler] since you'll be fully regenerating you'r Stagger Resist every other turn or so. also I've found [Magic Bullet] to be a more consistent win condition since Der Freischutz' mass attacks both shatter the worshipers dice and are easier to more consistently cast, with this set up it usually only takes about 3-turns to kill eileen once she enters her second phase, just the amount of time the Synchronization lasts for.
