I don't have a guitar. Does a Microfreak count? 😄 Trying to develop pedals with miRack; also have a Korg NTS-2. And yes, I DO have a MS-70CDR. I also have a big fat lazy gray CAT that contributes very little to the effects chain. 🤦🏻♂️😸😸Meanwhile, what got me quickly subscribing is the time you take not only showing the effects in the chain, but also showing ALL THE SETTINGS that I can easily read for a change! 😆😆👍🏼👍🏼
@@schautamatic That's great.. This pedal can be definitely used with whatever instrument we want... that's the beauty of it 👍🏼😃. All the settings are just for reference... everyone can change them as they wish and make their own recipe.... I hope you find more patches you like here👍
@@trnngthngs Thank you for your words. 😃 This motivates me to continue making these videos. If they inspire you to make music feel free to share them here with everyone👍🏼👍🏼
I like a Patch video like this. The ZoomMS-pedals really stimulate creativity with this patch making. If only I could chain more effects at the same time, it would be perfect. Maybe some more bit sample rate. And loan some alghorythms from newer Zoom products (amp cab sim). But never change their simplicity and cool weird sounds (reverse reverb, lofi delay with vinyl noise, blackhole reverb etc) But even today these MS pedals remain the best in what they can do for me.
I think the new one will be at least a little better than this old version, possibly a lot better. I can't say the same about the old MS50G and the new 50G+ (the old version has more effects, amp/cab sims and so on).
Thanks for your comment and for watching the video. You're right, thanks for bringing this to my attention. 👍. I will put his name on the video description. As mentioned in the video these are patches I found online, mostly in reddit or internet forums, but not exclusively.
@thecatweirdo right on, thanks for showcasing cool effects, I appreciate what you do. It'd cool if you could include the text code for the effects so we can copy and paste them into the editor. MechForestSound has a video about how to do that for people unfamiliar with it.
I just added the Gabbler & ScaryBoo - or... in my case, going off of my previous comment...3 Gabbler & 3ScaryBoo. ~ Nice Job on putting these together!
The 1st (2) don't do much for me. However - Gabbler & ScaryBoo will get added to my MS-70CDR. --- Since the MS-70CDR has 50 Slots for Effects, I have 4 different types of Effect Patches & have the types separated on my pedal. I do 1-4 - (1) has no set form & is more of a Synth Sound I do with Guitar. Giant Haze is a Good Example of this. (2) is Guitar Sound with Synthy Layers. This is where you can distinctly hear each note of the Guitar Strings + Synthy Sounds in the background. (3) is Special Effects & this is where Gabbler & ScaryBoo will go. (4) is where I have my Patches that have Distortion & Heavy Guitar in the mix. Since my Main Focus is Relaxing Soundscapes, I like to keep the Heavier ones separated. I usually will throw those in from time to time, when doing Guitar Solos. -- How do I use the System I created above??? -- I use the Looper in my Guitar Amp & Build Loops, which I turn into Relaxing Soundscapes. Special Effects Patches, might come in on the 3rd Layer of the Soundscape. Basically something to add additional Dept, without changing much... it's pretty Cool! ---- Thanks for putting this together!
@@thecatweirdo - It's helped to make a Huge Lot of Effects Patches more useable. I usually have the number (1-4) first & then the name... such as 1GiantHaze, 2TheWhite & 3Grabbler (coming soon!). --- Then, when I'm playing between the Effects Patches, simply seeing what number is 1st, I know Exactly what kind of Sound it'll be! Have Fun!
