In my opinion, I think "Aswang" is the perfect fit of a Vampire in the Philippines. Aswang usually attack pregnant women at night and can also shape shift to an animals. Like black cat, black bird, black pig or black dog, but sometimes Aswang doesn't prey on pregnant women alone, it can also prey animals like goats, chickens, pigs and many more when it needed. Older people in the Philippines used to tell us not to eat or drink something that is given to us by a stranger or a new neighbor especially in the urban area. "what if they were Aswang" that's what they say. If you can eat or drink their food you will become one of them "Aswang".
