Duran also had an open sparring session at the Tropicana before the Leonard 3 fight. The place was at least 10,000 a madhouse. Duran kicked the crap out of 2 different Leonard like movers he looked great that afternoon. Great moment in my life to say I saw one of the best who ever laced them up.

Duran is one of the best, ever, but on that particular night he was facing a monster in the ring. This was the the best version of Tommy Hearns, and at his best, The Hit Man was extremely dangerous for any opponent.

It's beginning to look like it'll be Haney-Ryan, but I still don't buy it because, like you said, Karbon, Ryan is not going to want another loss and he didn't look quite ready in his last fight. Haney vs Teo is just not going to happen because both want paydays and have bloated egos. The same with Haney vs Tank. Rolly is just interested in sexuality so he's out. The Matias fight might be the one, in part because Haney feels that Matias' defense is poor, and he could use that against him. I personally believe that the Matias fight would be the most dangerous for Haney, but he may have no other choice, other than his mandatory Martin. Otherwise, he might just be forced to move up and face super middleweights at his weight or below, such as GGG, Crawford, Spence, the Charlo's, Taylor, Ennis or Thurman.

Connor and Matias both come forward but Connor does differently so Haney would have to have a different plan for each. If Haney pulled off either one it would really stamp his legacy. I don’t think if it makes since Devin would fight him tho but then again the legality and promoters get in the way of a lot of these fights ! Shawn Porter is tough throwback fighter but he’s not particularly special. Danny’s best days were long behind him once he moved up. See we saw that stuff in real time. It would be one thing is those fighters never proved these things to be true and we were sitting here like “what if” but that’s not the case. I’m fairly confident that we know who the clear best two fighters of the bunch are. So clearing out the division in hindsight isn’t that relevant to his legacy. Now the email champ thing, like I said I get why he said it. He wanted the storyline for the rematch to be for undisputed. He feels slighted that team Ennis purposely positioned themselves to be elevated to IBF super champ. Bud wasn’t the IBF champ until he unified. @@karbon12boxing As you mentioned, Bud couldn’t get those fights prior to fighting Spence and I think it’s a big reach comparing Bud situation and Boots. Boots is still an up and coming fighter and having that belt doesn’t change that. Which is the issue people have with it. He’s a champion that didn’t technically beat a champion or even a chamionship contender for that matter. Not saying it’s his fault but saying that you are comparing THAT to Bud coming into the division. Bud stepped into the division as the most accomplished fighter by FAR having been lineal champion in 2 divisions and being undisputed already. Bc of that, Spence would have always had that fight hanging over his head no matter what. So their circumstances are very different. Do boots deserve a title shot? When Bud literally dealt with the same shit far as ppl doubting not ducking him well maybe a few not to the degree of boots and dats da problem in my opinion except in 147 which Boots called them out at 147 all I can say is I don’t think it would be wise to wait to fight boots he would be better off just not fighting him and chasing legacy
