Hope less camera work and reporting. If you want girls golf to progress you have to do miles better. Make it understood by everyone including non players.
Hooray! Well done again, you gave the result in the thumbnail! Don't you ever consider that viewers might watch this without knowing the result? Unbelievable! 👎
I can’t stand watching all of the morons who don’t respect the game swarming towards the ball like they’ve never seen a golf ball before. Obviously someone stole it
Hi, me again. I found this and immediately got here as fast as possible. Only to find my own comment from 3 yrs ago. That aside, this is still THE BEST, and, most heart warming round of Golf ever! I myself was barely familiar with him. To this day... best thing ever. Thank You for still having this up to see again. 😂
well, Bryson has won TWO majors now (proving #1 was no fluke)...so he can trash talk all he wants. (and do more Utube vids with the luscious Paige Spiranac)
3:55:21 has got to be one of the all time great golf pictures. He’s posing for The Open record at Royal Troon while the ball is halfway to the hole. and he beat one of golf’s all time greats, at his very best, with several shots to spare. what an all time performance from Sweden’s first male major champion, hats off to Stenson, this will always be one of my favorite golf moments
"Choking" is when a man runs out on his family or blames the world for his problems. There are plenty of professional athletes who made mistakes at the worst moments to cost them from being a champion (eg. Buckner, Webber). It sounds like Jean did not let that moment define his life to follow. Nothing but respect for him.
Morikowa's first 14 holes were well played. But, in failing to close the deal over 15-18...missed one short putt turning a a par into a bogey, then another turning a bird into a par - he turned a 62 into a 64. Very, very disappointing.
The headline would make you think he LOST the open...lost "a ball to lose The Open" except, that's not what happened. In fact, had he FOUND that ball in that area - long grass and/or trampled & covered - he would have done WORSE on this hole. He hit a great 4th shot (counting penalty) then sunk a ridiculous putt. I doubt he does better than that trying to hit #3 out of that long fescue which tends to rap around the hosel and the ball can end up anywhere - or go nowhere. I don't know if he ended up losing or not, but this hole i.e. a super rare "lost ball" would not have been the reason. Also, why they let a throng of about 50 people walk all over the area where the ball landed is paralyzingly dumb. Someone HAD to have watched it go into the fescue - within a foot or two. They should then direct a tournament official over to that spot alone. For all we know, someone picked it up or it was hopelessly trampled and covered up.
