This book is “Real Fine.” Very entertaining read and makes you feel like you are along for the ride. Rinker and his brother had a grand adventure that most parents would never dare let their kids attempt. I just found his father’s book “But Daddy” at a bookstore and will be entertained by the interactions of the parents and their eleven children.
Best place in the world to live! Moved here 2 years ago and still wake up every morning in awe of the beauty and amazing folks who actually care when they ask how you’re doing. The kindest and happiest people live here, the air is fresh and clean and community truly matters. People take care of one another. Traveled afar, and spent my life in Massachusetts but I’m happiest right here. What more can you ask for? It’s peaceful, and people smile a lot. I spent the majority of my life feeling like something was missing and now I know. It’s like a rebirth after growing up with people living on top of one another, beeping horns and having to lock my house and car up. So blessed and proud to live in Boothbay.
A bus full of Residents from Solstice Senior Living at Bangor visited this beautiful light show on Wednesday evening. This outing brought back fond memories of years gone by when families would make it an annual event to drive around neighborhoods to look at all the beautiful light displays. December was not December without this annual family outing. Everyone came back saying - this was the height of their December and are already looking forward to next year. Thank you Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens for giving our Residents an evening to remember..
Thanks for sharing, Jonne. Did you choose low tide deliberately, or was it a matter of timing? Either way, I enjoyed that, as it shows our shoreline "uncovered", which is a more complete perspective. Thanks again.
Just stunning! Thanks so much for sharing. What is the piece of music? I want to say it's Bach? I don't listen to much classical music, but I really like this piece.
+Daniel Greenberg Thank You, some Bach, Schubert, Mahler, and others, each has lower third credit during music, allowing time for people to try and guess the music...
Pamela Royer Hi Pam ! In a nutshell..yes..it applies to you...and everyone really ! 😊 Different degress of course, we all feel and assimilate changes individually. I have a feeling you are different in some ways than you were a year ago !
