I have this setup working for me but I have one problem. The adapter seem te be stuck in the hot shoe. Does anybody have the same problem? I can't get it out or am I to afraid and can I use more force?
4:27 Woah. Woahhhhh! What do you have against science?? it's only the most reliable method we know to discover truth and test predictions and invent solutions! 🧫🧫🧫🧫🧫🧫🧫🧫🧫
Dont use any mist or diffusion filters on darker skin tones. They are designed to shape light and that never bodes well with darker skin tones. Diffuse the light source, not the lens when it comes to darker skin tones.
lol. Did I not say to only use these whilst working on them for a better experience and then when it comes to sorting footage to use the hard drives? Remember this is a super short video where there isn’t time to breakdown every use case of each storage type. I myself use a symbology NAS system for the 30TB+ I have, but I’d never use the NAS or my portable hard drives to work and edit from
Hi, thank you for your videos, how do you usually carry a tripod with you, do have a model to recommend?! Do you go out ready for recording?! I feel the need to one but then I left it home, cuz I didn’t think I will have any ideas!! It’s hard to always have one with you!
I usually carry it just in the side of my backpack. Try and film with friends or someone to help, if not, go to a quiet area. Write down as many ideas as possible and try plan them out so when you’re out the house, you can just film and follow the plan. The tripods I recommend are: amzn.to/49FyJtU and a cheaper option amzn.to/3MurLOQ
so which should i get? I'm trying to clear my sd cards and need a place to store them. shoukd i get the lacie hdd? also are they rugged enough to take to school with me? im a highschool photographer
Great tip about spot metering, but here is my basic problem with shooting with s-log. I always hear about over exposing. Cool, but how to you 1. manage to do that if the subject is moving and the light changes - and the overexposure can go past the recommended range at any point. 2. If the base ISO is 640 - and that is the optimal ISO to get the best image, how do you over expose that without going to higher ISO ranges to produce grain? Especially when your aperture is perfect and you want to keep your shutter speed fixed?
Wow! Thank you. Handy tip. To confirm.., One mic, one XLR cable - going into channel one. Switch: Man(ual) With No mic plugged into input 2, The Camera will record another Mono signal at the set input gain; on channel 2? Both in-camera? :)
Don’t forget to change the input on the back of the audio handle as well! I honestly can’t remember the setting, but it has to be correct to record both.
Damn, now I want that monitor! As an aside, when I saw the video begin, I legitimately thought Michael Olise was telling me about filmmaking, I was confused for a sec! haha!
