Thank you so much for this video❤ I am currently making a granny square blanket as a total beginner, and i made the squares different sizes, so i had no idea how i should join them together. With your tutorial and some tips from google I am currently starting joining the granny squares, and it looks really good so far🥰🩷
The number of the squares depend on the size that u want. I made 60 squares 8" each to make an adult bed blanket. I shared the info for the different sizes on the Facebook group you can check it.. There are two videos for three different joining techniques y can choose whichever you like ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-drHc2mQC2oM.html
Thank you so much. Your explanation is very clear with each step. I watched a couple others and they went too fast for me and were not as detailed. You did a very good job overall. 😊 Now I’m happy to be able to connect all my squares.
I have a question ....why not just do a row of single stitches in cream, around the cream block to make it bigger first, so there will be.more holes to crochet into and be closer to the same size as the other block , before joining?
Of course u can do whatever you like... It's the beauty of this project. I introduce the stitch with different variation and everyone can do their own interpretation. At the end we get to learn new stitches which we can use them in different projects after that.
I very much appreciate your very well spoken English but speak up louder, dear girl, I'm old; or put the microphone closer, please. I cannot see my tablet when I have it stuck up next to my ear and I cannot crochet if I have one hand holding this thing up next to my ear, you see. If this tablet were shaped more like an old telephone, I could probably crunch it between my ear and my shoulder, like back in the olden days of tne '70s and manage to crochet with both my hands free... but it's not. So, could you help an old gal out? I tried wearing airbeds but then I crocheted my wire up into my work! LOL Not really. Just kidding you. Thank you for this video, and for sharing your skills, you do lovely work. I aspire to do as well.
Thank u so much for ur kind words and I'm sure u will do way better than mine... And I promise I will try to speak louder next time or I may buy a better microphone next time... Thanks for ur beautiful feedback. I really appreciate the comment and the way u put it is just beautiful
I found your video while looking for ways to join squares. I really liked the stitches in the squares. Where can I find the videos for each square pattern? Thank you for making this video
U can use bigger hook and thicker yarn. Or a better way, u can repeat the rounds until u reach the size that u want but bear in mind the increases.. It works like that with each new round u work 2 stitches in the same stitch and then one stitch as the previous round + 1 For example : in round 4 the repetition was 2,1,1 then 2,1,1 and so on. Round 5 will be like that 2,1,1,1 and repeat Of course u can add the buff wherever u want to make the circle just keep the count equal. I hope this is clear.
