Thank yo u so much for the video. I have a question, I usually work with NeoBiotech implants. What should I do if there is no Neobiotech in the list of Kit Type.
@@lunasol435-tw8ij well aside from the cost, there is a risk of decay especially if it's not fit perfectly and the porcelain ones can still chip of break. btw, kriss is an ai dental assistant 😁
Helpful video! Watching in 2024 and noticing the shift towards dental tech and AI tools in healthcare. There's a dental assistant like Kriss AI chat that can write implant consents and narratives, making dental and admin work so much easier.
Thanks for explaining this thoroughly! You and kriss ai both said that it is important to replace a missing tooth and it's just sad that I didn't know about this 11 years ago.!! It really caused my bite to collapse 😭
@@GeorgeNancyy some people don't get dental implant to replace a missing tooth. There is also a cheaper alternative which are dentures. Anyyways, what's kriss ai? 🤔
it is important, but not all know this, a lot of people tend to ignore when they have missing tooth, ig expensive for some to have this procedure, or not really educated about this. btw what is kriss ai?
my tongue isn't able to fit in the lower arch as showed in the animation, i'm discovering it now as an adult, but my orthodontist never told me about this, why is that
One of my buttons fell off my tooth. Does this matter too much? Obvs I’ll call my dentist asap to have it replaced but has anyone else had this problem?
Had my in plant yesterday 4 hours ‘ in the chair ‘ roof of my mouth was cut and used in the process ‘ I just wish now I went for a plate’ instead of in-plant’ I can’t eat solid’s or drink hot drinks for two weeks . My top lip is so swollen it looks like I’ve had Botox ‘ listen up people do your home work first’ I wish I did . Plus it’s cost me £3500 just for on Tooth.
I had a cross bite and underbite so I started a treatment with invisalign. I’m halfway through the treatment and my underbite is almost corrected, however I still have a cross bite. By seeing this video I can see this is my case (I on puroose shift my bite because it’s more confortable). However my orthodontist told me he wouldn’t expand my palate, they will just shift the teeth to be more diagonal… I’m not sure about this, my palate feels narrow so I think it would be better to actually expand it, not just “open” de teeth diagonally. Can somebody please tell me if this is a red flag? Or is he correct?
I have the same issue, I’m 33 and they can’t really expand it so my teeth don’t align perfectly. Expanding it is easy to do as a kid but as an adult not as easy because you aren’t growing anymore
Nicely done, Dr. Schaeffer. Aks, the short implant doc. Saw this video years ago on dentaltown, then I couldn't find it. Thanks, Blue Sky Bio for posting it.
Why is there no offset between the denture base and the model? I thought you were supposed to leave some space something like 0,05mm so its not too tight but I dont know, just want to learn
I have a unilateral cross bite bc my tooth is really behind but yesterday my braces shifted that behind tooth to the front so it’s conpletely straight now! What’s even better is that now my unilateral cross bite is gone! Ik that this isn’t permanent and that I’ll need elastics later on in my treatment but just training my bite to be aligned for a day totally changed my resting position. I have to relearn how to smile but my face is actually symmetrical now. Anyway, two on my oral insecurities gone in a day!! Stick to braces and it’ll be so worth it ❤
@@clarencehalbay6042i have same issue but sadly my dad doesnt allow me to get braces cuz they cost to much and thinks i dont need them so i cant fix this
I have to get all my teeth done.. I have some lack of everything but mostly I mean they are all broken and decayed because I had a treatment for some kind of cancer for 3 years and that affected my teeth.. I want just to have teeth as if they were natural, that is, I don't want the dental plaque that you take off, but I want teeth inserted directly into the gums, etc.. but since I have debris like that, it might make a hole in them and that's how it turned out in the video
I had a root canal fail. My only adult tooth loss. I went through like a 2 year implant process and FINALLY had my crown put on a couple months ago. The positioning of the crown has changed my bite and I went for a follow up with my oral surgeon and there’s a massive gap between crown and gums. Not only that, but the crown is like, slanted, and the grind is not right. It’s like backwards or something. The root canal, implant and crown literally on this tooth over these last 4 years has tabbed me over $7000. If my dentist tells me I need to reorder a new $1200 crown I’m gunna explode. Lol. He should cover that. I was stunned that the dentist didn’t have the crown x rayed following seating. The dentist is a super nice guy, but this guy and my oral surgeon have made a ton of money off me. Shits crazy. Lol
How are you even watching this video? This is like a pretty specific technical video that's most likely to get suggested to dentists who use Blue Sky Bio's particular software and implants. Weird. Anyway, sorry about your tooth.
