Does the car need to be running to get signal from the transmission? When I try to do this, I get messages that the scanner cannot connect to the TCM. But my car is not running yet.

Can you measure the depth for the low and high mark? I have dozens of dipsticks in real Mercedes cars that dont have Chrysler in thier name, but i have a clk55 im working on with this bonehead no dipstick. Im not paying 20$ for something that should have come in the car in the first place.
Thank you. I have changed a few of these over the yrs and always forget about a couple details. The top bolt can also be attacked from going with 2 ft of 3/8 drive extensions and going all the way back to back of transmission
I was always told that new keys were delivered from Stuttgart as they had to be paired to the original VIN for the car and that coding information is never allowed outside the factory where the car was built. Seems like that is not true! 😡

for me it shows the message rear left sensor, the car does not drive, so it must be the sensor, I replaced it with a new one and it still shows errors. So there must be either a break in the cable or something with the pump :(
Omg I did, too! Exactly the same car! 1984 300CD. Mine's Manila Beige with Palomino interior. You are right! It was a GREAT project car until I burned up the motor in December 2019 because somebody used the wrong seals to fix the turbodrain. Heartbroken! It was just starting to come together. I still have it! I need a motor! My ❤️!
Excellent videos. I must say, your fuel lines off the pump look a lot tidier than mine, my one is a spaghetti of oily hoses. A leaking fuel preheated system I’m assuming.
Super instructional video! Is your car Keyless-go? If not, do you know if this the same operation and actuator A2117200935 for keyless-go cars? Mine isn't bouncing, but doesn't latch. I also understand the gear/cam can become damaged, so in my mind it would be wise to pick up the repair kit that contains these items as well.

I had this issue 100 miles from home. I was nervous about the tow. Somehow it resolved itself. I think I had some road clay in a place it shouldn’t be. Two weeks later still no issue. Hope to never see it again, I was stuck in first gear only.

Btw, Amazon and Ebay both said it was not the correct valve for my car but it is, go figure." Original post: Took 2004 C240 spare to be repaired at Costco. Big mistake. They threw away the old leaking valve and called me and said we can't find a new one. So... I am trying to find something that matches such a small hole like on yours. This is ridiculous by MB. I'm looking at the correct replacement. It looks way bigger than the original hole. Is this normal? Maybe I got the right one from Parts Warehouse after all.
