Hi everyone, and welcome to the channel. I focus on flight sims here, with a mix of single and multiplayer content. I also sprinkle in some non-flight games to keep me from going insane. Current schedule is:
Monday: Random whatever I feel like Tuesday: DCS Multiplayer Wednesday: No upload Thursday: KSP Ironman Friday: Non-DCS Flight Sim Saturday: Short Sunday DCS Singleplayer Campaign (Currently Operation Pontus)
P-47 was viable on DDCS to some extent until everyone cried about it. Best Helo remover plane The old 1000lbs bomb were half decent against armor with the right fuse.
The server seems fun but always in a rotation I dont take interest in when i have some free time to play. Primarily using the Viper and the lack of standoff weapons in a lot of server settings, along with prefering it on Blue has left me sticking to other servers.
If you continuously cycle through presets 1 through 8 while waiting in the stack, one of the channels eventually ask for support. It's a really stupid system to sit there and cycle through presets when Overlord or Whiplash should be calling you in. FYI, Channel 2 is the first one to ask for support.
DLQ... Whats fun is set all ships with landing pads in custom mission I set 10... starting from the first touchdown land try to land on all 10 ships in 10 minutes.
The RWR actually tells you what is locking you if you look it up - I believe the far right light below the direction indicator is for an airborne radar, the first two are for ground based. As far as I can recall anyway
@@SuperEvilMonkee yeah, I just keep forgetting which is which. And unfortunately it doesn't distinguish airborne radar, which would have helped tell whether it was a friendly F14 or an enemy that was locking me, hehe
@@Dr_Jebus Rule of thumb is that the lights are in decreasing order of scaryness. Airborne, LORAD, MERAD, SHORAD, EW, AWACS. If you forget which direction the scaryness gradient goes, just remember that П is Pi which is short for "plane"
It's not bad, only problem for the mission maker, I know a dude who does Wild Weasel in real life (former 16 driver SEAD, current 35a driver YGBSM) and the load outs are waaaaay wrong man. Thats my only problem with this campaign.
Very good review. I have the same setup coming from winwing uk in the next few days hopefully. I'm just wondering though...Do you have to run the software to use the vibration mode? The reason I'm asking is that I heard the software can cause frame rate drop. Great review...Thank you..
@@davidgowing2121 just tested and no, vibration doesn't seem to work without the software running. I've not noticed any frame rate issues with the software but I might just be lucky.
@@Dr_Jebus OK Thanks. There is a Reflected review that states some framerate issues but just noticed a reply that says it has been sorted with the latest software update...So all good..Thanks for testing. 👍
@@adamblair-smith3063 I think the balancing is all over the place to be honest. Bluestack is due to the F4 getting too many weapons for the time period, not the sabre. F4 needs to be more heavily restricted, especially on the 60s rotation, but I don't see Heatblur doing that
How do we move units without getting in and manually driving them though? I've seen people setup waypoints essentially for AI to go through. If I need to move 5 units from one LZ to a capture zone there's got to be a better way than 1 by 1. Is there a part 2 coming later?
Great review thank you for taking the time to make it In learning the FA18 so I’m leaning toward that stick and throttle for most realism …. But this setup has so many more buttons for the same price Arggghgg 😅
@@expataviator7107 the advantage of going for more buttons is it does make it easier to jump between modules. But yeah, I do get wanting the one that matches your main aircraft. Difficult choice!
