It's weird to observe it real time the mother dog doesn't want the daddy dog to come close to her puppies but allowed me and my mother to touch i even cuddled and carry the puppies in front of her she doesn't give a damn
It's more like commiseration. I've had more than a half dozen Dobies in my life and at least five of them did their "talking" just like this when they wanted to get something off their chest; from wanting to go out, play some ball, eat, take a ride in the truck, or just plain get some huggies. In each case they seemed to purposely make it sound like it was the end of the world if I didn't give them what they wanted NOW! I had one that would do this for a half minute while I was on the toilet and if I didn't finish and attend to his wishes he'd blast in and start tugging on my pants. the mom make the rules not the dad the mom said no means no but she know better u have eto let him see your kids or maybe she thinks its to early cause they look like newborns but they eyes are open instead of close
11 years later and i am sure that the mother, father and most of the litter is dead now and the pups that are alive today are very very very very old and geriatric.
Mother Dog: What the hell do you want?! Father Dog: Well I want to see my puppies. Mother Dog: You didn't want to see nor be there for me when these puppies were born, but now you want to see them? Father Dog: Okay fine. So I screwed the pooch a few times, I'm not a bad dog. Mother Dog: Fuck you, these puppies stay with me. I'm not going to be your puppy's mama. Father Dog: These are my puppies too!! Mother Dog: You haven't at all given me Purina pro nor puppy chow, or puppy supplies for these puppies as financial puppy support!! Get off the lawn and get out now and screw a pooch else where!! You're just a dead-beat dog to these puppies!! I thought I would make this really ridiculously comical. LOL
There’s a period that mother dogs are particularly defensive over their pups because they know they are fragile and not every other dog knows they are puppies to be treated gently ! Some dogs will kill a new born pup unattended by its mother possibly mistaking it for a small prey animal ! Don’t stress the mother dog like this !
