This is one ugly pretender bike. Get a Harley and give up the notion that BMW can ever be a cool bike. It is as ugly as a wart on a scarred, scab, face.
I've had 3 air heads and 2 oil heads, but haven't had a big bike for 8 years. I'm 77 and fit and I'm considering a R18 Classic. I'm just wondering about the 800 lb weight, but the reverse is easing some of that question.
These are Ukrainian now, have been for a long time. I'm halfway through getting a 750 side valve mongrel back on the road so I can cart my wolfhound around.
You had the rack the correct way when you first put it in. It may have worked for you but the idea is for it to be elevated from the botton pan so the smoke gets underneath as well. I'm a vetran Nipper Kipper enthusiast so I have credentials! 🧐😅 I mean you were burning the freaking plastic table so i hope you've gotten the hang of it after 7 yrs 😂
Neverdid get the hang of it and found so many things I coiuld do better that eventually it landed in the bin. But what suits you is what;s important - on ya mate.
titles a bit misleading, i came to see an offroad trial of the calcutta cruiser, and ended up watching a cooking show? should of saved that roast 15 minutes earlier- practically cremated it, brekkie looked good though
I wonder if this is a one off build by Ryebuck Engineering or can it be ordered with a new vehicle from next door? Pay the cash and pick your new MSV up in a few weeks?
You and the bike do not match. The bike looks a little ridden but your jacket is free of bugs and just typical weathering. Your boots are nice and clean and so are both your pant legs. Your helmet tells me you are not a long distance rider much less an adventure rider. Someone is trying to give an impression and not tell the truth.
@@tonkaturbodiesel Motorcycle Industry does not mean he is a rider. Salesman yes, rider no. Kangaroos bounce, they don't ride. Australia has beautiful women but try going from Tierra Del Fuego to Dead Horse!
Mate, have you evr dressed for a photo shoot? No - and don't tell me I'm not a rider, obviooudly you haven't been around the last forty years - while I ran bike mags, tested bikes and most of all rode the shit out of them.
I’ve used the GP product (Lanox) for over 15 years and swear by it for the rust prevention. I have also applied it to a sacrificial pin that drives the propellor on my pedal kayak. It’s made of high carbon steel so rusts at the smell of sea water. Its actual function on my kayak means it’s in the sea water every time I go out to kayak fish. I sprayed the HD stuff (Lanotec from the spray can) onto it two years ago and that pin hasn’t rusted or been re-coated since. It looks brand new. I swear by the qualities of both the GP and HD stuff!!
Your not old Roothy, you were born that way mate , been a fan of yours for years mate, shit! that means I'm getting old too. Cheerio Mate, good to see you out and about., on a Harley.
They have put that engine in a relatively light weight and small package Roothy! Should test ride the Sportster S... Same motor with a slight tune change I believe. Have heard they are a rocket of a thing for a little banger
Saw an electric Harley I thought what the.........not keen on electric at all ........ this Pan Am looks sweet as.. 🇦🇺🇺🇸👍 like this a lot plus the fact it's made in the USA and Petrol engine.
Bean watching John rooth for many years at this point he was part of the family. Then when he had this roll over with his wife in the car . Then made us wait a week or two to see if she was OK,did it for me is was so obvious it was about the ratings sad .Lost a lot of respect for him at that moment
It looks great, but I have misgivings about the weight, especially when everything for a trip is loaded up. I carry no more weight than is absolutely necessary. But, I am a very basic traveller, swag, tuckerbox, water, fuel, tools and spares. Not even an Esky.
Yep, my biggest issue always - weight! This isn't that bad and is part of my testing the Mahindra anway I reckon although got a feeling we might pull the roof topper for a Cape trip - you' re rioght, simple is always bhest. The stuff some people take......
Hello, I have a Fj60 from 1983, it comes with a 4th gearbox, I have seen a Toyota 14B turbo engine, I would like to know if the 5th gearbox of this engine is compatible with the transfer of my FJ60, or in any case which ones are compatible
OK, not5 sure - I swapped in a 13BT turbo but used the old 4 speed bellhousing and transfer - ask the Mr Landcrsuier boys, and speak to Richard. Good luck! Excellent motor the 14BT
