This thing is way over complicated, factory instructions suck, this video doesn't show anything very well. Little ridiculous for a almost $300 piece of plastic
"@Feelfree Kayaks" At 2:16 the narration says "place the THICKER washer at the top of the opening for the rudder as shown" -- but the guy in the video is placing the THINNER washer at the top of the rudder. Then, seconds later, the guy in the video places the THICKER washer at the bottom during the install where the narrator says "add the THINNER washer to the bottom as shown". So.... Which is it??? Thicker washer on top, or the bottom? The paper sheet that comes with the kit seems to suggest that the THICKER washer goes on top (at least for the Lure 13.5 install), but there are no written instructions with the rudder kit - only very vague diagrams.
If you tie a few knots on the end of 20lb monofilament line, you can use compressed air and it will blow the line up through the tube in seconds. Stink the other end of the fishing line through the cord, tie it off and pull it through.
The unitrack isn’t convenient at ALL. It’s a proprietary track system that doesn’t allow you to use universal mounts, rod holders, etc. you have to buy adapters.
Do you trust this in the ocean? How’s the stability? Should I worry about tipping it or do you think I’ll be good? 215 lb 5’9. I ordered one but nervous about stability. I want to fish in little deeper of water, but don’t want to swim in it. I’ve caught too many sharks to know better.
I just order your Lure 13.5 v2 with the overdrive system and would like to know if this stand up bar work with that set up . I could see adding a striping basket for fly line management . Any thoughts would be much appreciated.Thanks
I love my Moken 10 v2 but hate your rails. Why not stick with what everyone else is using? You won't be seeing anymore of my money because i'm taking your rails off and installing yakattack rails. This was a very bad business decision on the part of your company. I wish i had done more research before I bought.

why you design a uni track, and don't make any uni track accessories? suck like rod holder, fish finder mount, etc.... i have to but the adapter to use other band accessories? what is the point of make this uni track???? just make yourself different then other and add more weight on the boat and make us spend more money???
I have the 2017 Lure V1 13.5, and the internal tubes the rudder cable runs through have already deteriorated and turned to literally dust. Odd, because the rudder has bever been installed, so it's never seen any use. I would order replacements, but I cringe at the thought of having to replace them every 3 to 5 years. Apparently this is a common issue that others are having also. Although not a costly repair, threading new tubes through will be almost impossible. Not a job I look forward to doing. Just a heads up if you plan on buying this kit, and are having cable install trouble.
Same issue with the pull cord not wanting to thread through the lining. Use scissors and make the cleanest cut you can on the end and hit it with a lighter. I used my fingers to twist and compact it while it was hot.. it worked though.
I recently bought the Lure10 and 11.5. Very happy with both. The 11.5 came with a trolling motor, fish finder, paddle, battery’s for both. I would like to mount my GoPros on the side track also. Can you tell me where I can purchase that plate to mount it on? Thank You.

I am 60 yrs old, 6ft tall and 260 lbs. I have been trying to decide between the 10 v2 and the 11.5 V2. Do you think that I would be better off with the 11.5 due to my weight or can I get away with the 10? I am a brand new to kayaking.
@@alexrebollo4871 based on the little bit of experience that I got since purchasing mine, it depends on whether you are buying the lure series or the moken series. Whichever series you decide to buy, I would get the larger one. I bought the moken and I bought a 12.5 for stability. On top of that, if you buy the moken, you need to buy the 12.5 if you want the sonar pod to be able to be placed into the water. Unless they made some changes the 10 footer is nothing more than a compartment. However, I would double check that.
its getting caught on the nipple on the ends. good luck. took me 4 hrs to get my cable ran through there and the tube is actually dangling and can risk leakge
I bought this bag from EcoFishing shop and a Moken 12.5 v2. Here is the review I copied from the EcoFishing website... I purchased a FeelFree Moken 12.5 kayak. Then I purchased a FeelFree Crate Bag. The bag costs $129 plus shipping plus tax. When it arrived, the 1st thing I noticed was that the support plates were wrong. The side plates are different, 1 has 2 mounting brackets for rod holders and the other has 3 brackets. Mine had 2 of the double rod holders and none of the 3 rod holders. This made assembly impossible. I kept going anyways planning on only having 2 rod holders. The support plates did not fit. When you force them in the sleeve the whole frame gets wonked. It is a crooked crate. I took my crooked crate with only 2 rod holders to my Moken and the crate bag did not fit... The Feelfree Kayak and the FeelFree Kayak Crate Bag are not compatible. The crate only fits in sideways. When you install the crate sideways the rod holders are in the front and block access to the top of the crate. The gear bags are not useable as they are pinned in by the tank well walls. Also the lid requires 2 hands to shut and you need to adjust it every time you shut it as the flaps never seat right. This crate is worthless and clearly never went through any sort of QC in manufacturing. I returned it... EcoFishing does not do returns. When you make them do a return you pay a 10% stocking fee and must pay for the shipping. I got the 10% fee waived but the $71.88 it cost me to ship it back was WRONG. They could easily have given me a shipping label that would have cost me about $9, but EcoFishing wishes to discourage returns and this is how they do that. Do not buy this product.
A motor mountable transom like the Jonny boat would have been great for this kayak. Not everyone wants the pedal drive and the electric motor battery setup.
